Level of training camp= maximum recruit training available in that camp

Odds RT20

RT20 estimated
3* 75%
4* 20%
5* 5%

average 10 days per 4* hero.

Merciless RNG means specific heroes can take years ( took me a combined 2.5 years of recruit training - multiple RT20, 2.0 years real world - and $1,000+ USD to get purple 4* Cyprian and blue 4* Boril )

Odds RT13

RT13 estimated
3* 95%
4* 5%

average 40 days per 4* hero.

Not recommend for most daily players since RT20 is fast to reach unlike gorram frakking Advanced Buildings ( see build order below )

Merciless RNG means some accounts will go years with ZERO 4* hero from RT13.

Single rarity result

Recruit training with only a single result- RT01, RT03, RT12, RT19 - only produce that rarity.

Dual rarity results

Except for RT13 ( 3* 95%, 4* 5% ), dual results are 50% / 50% for rarity.

RT02 and RT04 ( 1* 50%, 2* 50% )
RT05 to RT09 ( 1* 50%, 2* 50% )
RT11 ( 1* 50%, 2* 50% )

RT10 ( 2* 50%, 3* 50% )
RT14 to R18 ( 2* 50%, 3* 50% )

Color training

This post is before a lot of research was done into food cost when leveling heroes. However its conclusions are still sound.

Thanks, very intresting.
Lately i moved dowm from 3 tc 20 to 1 since i have now some 5star classic which i have to level.

Now i run mostly tc 11 and 19 when i have spare food.

But now i’m thinking also to replace a 11 by a 1 to get rid of my swords.
Only this would diminish my recruits supply a lot.
Or is there a better way to get rid of swords?

Backstory

In a funny bit of backstory, I have NEVER used swords on any Empires account ( see notes ).

I misunderstood how training camps work with my first Empires account until Stronghold level 5. So I skipped straight to Low cost training ( RT04 - no ascension items).

With my other accounts, I always skip Common ( RT01 ) - I do not even research it.

Advanced House

Until Advanced House Level 10 ( see notes), I never used kits / backpacks because Hero XP per recruit is better for Extra low cost ( RT11 ) and Extra Fast ( RT19 ) and recruits was the largest bottle neck.

Swords

Now it is a play style issue.

My biggest bottle neck is RNG paywalls so I have a hoard of 7,112x finished heroes in Extra fast ( RT11 - 3x camps ).

Other players use swords with the idea

This is only a game
There will always be more recruits and food

Using swords

Okay, I have technical used swords for research purposes, but “I have ONLY used swords for research purposes” does not sound as cool

Latest Update- Color training

I though I had linked to the below when discussing Advanced Color training, but apparently I did not. Even though it is old, including it helps new players avoid color training, and advanced color training, if they wish to level the most heroes.

Legendary training odds

All data collection seems to set Legendary recruit training ( RT20 ) odds at

RT20 estimated
3* 75%
4* 20%
5* 5%

To my knowledge, the largest collection attempt was 3500, see below.

Can’t see a button after I upgraded TC 20 LVL to “claim all”. Help! P.s. how should it work?

After TC20 upgraded, we should Research it, then, after Research finish,… put 100 recruits and 297k ham, 1x stone into TC20 (Legendary).
