he mountain of data I’m looking at has troops as a yes/no thing, not saying whether they are 1* or 2*, but some of the contributed data started with a lot more data on troops (and heroes). I’ve found a couple patterns looking at it.

1. All troop drops appear to be ~75% 1* / ~25% 2* Hero drops appear to be the same 75/25 mix.

2. Troop drop rates appear to be constant across the map PER RUN. Which means that troops/WE drop off inversely as WE increases.

In other words, @Pois1 is correct–you won’t find better troop drops than 8-7 anywhere else. But I’d note that you should find the same troop drop rate in all of season 1, provinces 5~8, (Also provinces 1~4, but it isn’t a good place to farm, and consequently my data is thinner and so is my confidence.)

Hero drops are different–the rate appears to increase with WE across the map, although not quite as fast as WE increases if I recall correctly.

Regarding the heroes.
23-11 is the place to go for them.
Huge drops. Once I got 11 heroes for 7 loot tickets.

If rumors are true, Atlantis Rising 7 world energy stages will be reduced by 3 to a total of 4 world energy with +50% loot.

Rumored troops

If this includes troops, it will become the best for troops. 4we versus 3we= +33%we but +50% additional troops.

The 6we stages will become 3we but their recruit drops are lower so loss of recruits, and heroes, not worth increase in troops in my opinion ( see below for best recruits).

Rumored heroes

If this includes heroes, increase unknown but 7we hero drop rate ( see above @BarryWuzHere quote ) +50% additional heroes for only 4we.

Rumored recruits

If this includes recruits, 7we recruits +50% additional recruits { 28- 31 recruits per run } for only 4we in 2.15-9N

or
22.5 recruits per 3we
versus
9 recruits per 3we ( { 8-10 recruits per run } in 1.8-7 )

or
a +150% increase.

This is rumored and subject to change.

Odds of pulling troops are significantly lower than pulling heroes so you will see the max much more often with heroes, and generally more often in higher levels on the map for heroes.

Max per run is two of each normally, three of each during AR.

Some stages never produce troops.
