Real-time conquest map affected by raids

I think it would be really cool if raids were more than just a one-time pvp event. What if there were a world map (like the story map) with regions that could be guarded by alliances, but if their members lost too many raids, they would lose the region to the alliance who attacked them? To keep things balanced, you could divide the servers depending on alliance scores or something like that.

This map would update to show the territory conquered, to show everyone how much land their team owns.
