These damage ratios (Actual dealt damage / damage before defense stat) fluctuate. For the next data set, I need a team of five identical 2* Heroes (tier 1, level 1, 0 XP) with good defense stat and health.

Edit: Trainer Heroes appear to be identical. Even better if I can find a raid defense team of all Trainer Heros.

Edit 2: Looks like 2* Trainer Heroes with common villagers can farm 8-7. Now I just need a blue one.

Edit 3: This software appears to archive all edits, I wonder if it archives deleted posts for 30 days?

Special skill damage, tile damage and monster spawned health vary. Unknown if monster spawned defense varies.

There is definitely a random roll added to damage dealt against the same opponent using the same special skill. Two Trainer Heroes can do the same, or different damage, to the same boss. Similar situation with tile damage from two Trainer Heroes of a neutral attack color.

We can only see the monster’s health, but the health fluctuates when spawned. 8-7 Scouts vary from 390, 409, 419, 428 health. Unknown if just health, or also defense changes.

*6+ red tiles (strong) hit and one appeared to be 20 instead of the expected 38- 40. Video replay is needed to confirm this number.

Something besides RNG is going on here. Trainer Hero 3* and Bane 3* should both be using the same def stat curve, but there are weird variations.

Since my Bane is 3* 3.50, I will try and pull another Bane 3* 1.1 and see if its curve matches my Bane 3* 3.50

Will also try comparing the def curve for a 2* Trainer Hero and a 3* Trainer Hero attacking the same Boss.

(I know how easy it is to pull Bane when you’re not trying. Does it become difficult when you are?) :wink:

Yep. The last Bane I had was 22 days ago. :frowning:

I just pulled Oberon from my training camp. Ironically my only training camp Bane showed up after my only training camp 4* hero (Li Xiu).

From the data sets it appears

A) Attack number is calculated, then a random percentage is rolled for EACH target, and added to the attack number before checking the defense number. We will call it the final attack number.

B) The final attack number is compared to the current defense number and a damage number is generated.

Observations:

Damage tends to fluctuate less for a higher current defense number.

Sequential boss attacks that do identical damage versus team Hero A will still do different damage versus one, or more, of the three to five surviving team heroes.
