Which yellow hero is best for defense and/or in general? Do share your experience.?
Attributes? Downfalls? Thanks!
Wu Kong is very helpful for titans. He really amps up tile damage, but he gives a decent miss percentage. When you can control when he fires you can maximize damage and he is fine on offense. He may be not so great on defense as specials will fire as they are available, even if Wu Kong active making it easier to miss.

In the past Wu Kong is one of the very best 4* in almost any aspects; titan, defense, offense.
Nowadays, he became less and less important because Tarlak, Miki and Ranvir skills have all overwhelmed Wu Kong. Frankly speaking, sadly he became a FODDER sometimes ago. Do not waste your time on Wu Kong.
Leonidas is a decent 5* hero but his ability has also overwhelmed by Joon and his costume. So you can use level, ascend and emblem him to what ever milestone you like, but definitely, when you have Joon ready at 4/80, you will naturally pull emblems out of Leo and pour to Joon instead. The case will accelerate when you have Joon+Costume.

@TheeUnburnt Drake Fong, Joon, cJoon and Poseidon, are all best for defense as far as Holy 5* heros go. If you get Justice, Leonidas, Neith or Vivica, they are solid 5* heros that will serve you well, BUT you will probably replace them down the road when you get something better. But as I alway say, play with what you have not with what you might get in the future. As an example if you get Justice and she is your only 5* Holy, use her! She can be an effective tank until you get something better. I hope that helps!

For DEFENSE Leo.
Overall I’d do WU first as he’ll level up much much quicker than leonadis and he’s useful offensively and for titans and doesn’t require precious darts to complete.
If when he’s done no better options in yellow have come along go ahead and go for Leo.

@Freakangel. I get your point, but Wu doesn’t get any playing time in my roster while Leonidas still does. All I’m saying is long term, you will get more play out of Leonidas than you will Wu. Thus if you are going spend resources leveling and putting emblems on a hero, you may ultimately find the resources spent on Leonidas were not as much of a waste as the resources used on a Wu. IMO

Leo does have his place, I agree.
I use him together with Neith and both of them are shining as effective mana controllers.
Leo hits & heals himself, also reduce opponent’s mana too. Good to use.

Errr, if you don’t yet have a titan attack boost (any of Miki, Tarlak, Ranvir, and Gazelle) you really should use Wu Kong. He adds maybe 50% (my gut feel only) to total titan damage net of miss chance and the resulting inability to stun.
The only exception I can think of is if you are facing a 13-star or higher titan which can basically one shot even an emblemed Wu - in which case you’d probably want to keep your heroes alive via stuns instead.
Note that the other titan specialists are all 5-Stars, plus Miki and Ranvir are now only available via the Tavern. Don’t count on getting one any time soon unless you are willing to chase them.
Edit: My wife has a 4400+ defense team and regularly raids at 2600+ cups. She has 15 or 16 5-star heroes maxed, and consistently hits at least B-Rank up to 12-star titans. Guess what, she still uses Wu+18 on titans because she has none of the aforementioned 5-star titan specialists.
Edit2: Leo is a subpar sniper because of his average speed. He is relatively easier to replace than Wu, since better snipers are available even via TC20. I have Leo at 1-1 and chose to max a second Joon instead. Similarly, I used Domitia a lot when I was just starting but hardly use her now as Sartana is faster.

In my honest opinion, if you are looking for war defence and raid defence, I personally wouldn’t use Wu Kong.
When I use Wu it’s for hits against the Titan and or offence in raids, war, map stages, events etc
But eventually you will outgrow him.
Leonidas is a solid 5* yellow and ok in your defence, but again you will eventually replace him with a better 5* yellow.
So to strengthen your defence right now I would choose Leonidas.
But for versatility I would probably go with Wu Kong

Important tip, although it may be a fairly false forum fact (thanks @JonahTheBard for this repository of wisdom), Wu has a reported ~140% miss rate BUT more seriously, he is dreadful on defense but a 4 star Titan essential.

I rarely use Leo now. I maxed him before I got 2 Joons, that’s when he got used a lot, but now I use both Joons a lot more than Leo now.
My only titan buffer is still Wu Kong and I fight 14* titans for a long time and I do a fine damage myself. I don’t use him anywhere else anymore though. Not on defense or world maps or anything, just titans. I got used to the fact that Miki totally evaded me, he was the only one i did quite some pulls when he was hotm and when he was on Atlantis, but no luck. And my Wu kong has no emblems whatsoever (level 27 crit troop makes him survive a hit on 14* titans with axe and turtle banner active)
So if you have no other titan buffer (Tarlak, Miki, Ranvir, Gazelle) Wu kong is still good for titans.
Leo can be easily outgrown by Joon or 2 Joons and other better yellow 5* heroes outside of S1.
On the other side it all depends on your roster. If Leo is your only yellow 5* hitter and you don’t have Joon or any better yellow 5* hitter/sniper, max him and use him.
If you have one of the 5* titan buffers mentioned and you have all the mats for him, they should be all better than Wu.
