[Primer] Second 3* team or Intro to getting 3*/ 4* Heroes, leveling, picking, farming, double color and war ( Part 3 )

==Picking your second 3* Heroes==

Some heroes are good, some suck but the majority are just okay. For your second rainbow team of 3* heroes you want to level a good, or okay, 3* heroes.

Since these heroes are eventually going to be replaced by 4* 4.70 and 4* 3.60 heroes thanks to Legendary training, or summons, it helps to pick 3* heroes that are good for Alliance war.

You need 30 heroes for war, but that is only if you use six rainbow teams. If you want to use a tailored color team versus a specific war defense team, having more than 30 heroes available lets you use double colors, and other color combinations, to increase your effectiveness in war. Example: if the enemy alliance uses lots of Green 4* Kasshrek centers ( protection from red ), being able to double any color except blue and red, will give you the best results the first time you attack a war defense team.

==3* Heroes for War==

==3* Healers==

Healers restore your heroes HP. 3* healers can only help injured heroes, but they are still very powerful.

Green 3* Belith is the best general healer. Belith has better toughness than Hawkmoon or Friar Tuck. Belith can remove buffs from enemies. Belith is strong ( double matching/ normal/ physical damage ) versus Blue enemies and weak ( half matching/ normal/ physical damage ) versus Red enemies.

Red 3* Hawkmoon has better attack than Belith. Hawkmoon is strong ( double matching/ normal/ physical damage ) versus Green enemies and weak ( half matching/ normal/ physical damage ) versus Blue enemies.

==3* Healers ( note )==

I like running two healers for farming and quests. Belith plus Hawkmoon make a good rainbow pairing. Two Belith are good versus Blue enemies while two Hawkmoon are good versus Green enemies.

==3* Buffer==

Green 3* Brienne buffs your other heroes. +45% attack for 5 turns is a strong buff that lasts a long time.

==3* Snipers==

Snipers target only one enemy, but generally have fast mana speed and generally do a lot of damage to the single target.

Yellow 3* Bane is the king of the 3* snipers. Bane is fast mana speed. Bane causes the target to have -35% accuracy for 4 turns. An very strong debuff with a decent duration.

Purple 3* Tyrum can remove buffs from enemies. Tyrum is fast mana speed.

Blue 3* Valen can cause the target to have -34% defense for 6 turns. This is a very strong debuff with a very long duration for a debuff. This will help your other heroes do much better damage to the enemy while they are under this debuff. Valen is fast mana speed.

Purple 3* Balthazar does not have any secondary special skill effects. But Balthazar’s fast mana speed and the high damage Balthazar can do per special skill hit makes up for his lack of other advantages.

Red 3* Nashgar can cause the target to take 120 damage over 6 turns ( 20 damage per turn ). Unlike Valen’s 6 turn debuff, Damage over time special skills are better the shorter the duration since that applies all the damage sooner. Nashgar has a high attack stat ( 514 at maximum ), better than Balthazar ( 483 ), Valen ( 479 ), Bane ( 469 ), Brienne ( 446- unmodified ), and Tyrum ( 387 ). So Nashgar will do the most ( double matching/ normal/ physical damage ) versus a neutral color enemy.

==3* Sniper ( note )==

I am leveling THREE Bane for alliance war and challenge events due to the usefulness of Blindness ( accuracy debuff ).

I am leveling two Tyrum, two Valen and two Balthazar for alliance war and challenge events.

I leveled one Nashgar for alliance war and challenge events due to his high attack stat.

==3* Attack All==

Attack all can be a useful skill in a 4*/ 5* hero, but 3* special skills are usually too weak to benefit from attack all.

==3* Splash damage/ nearby damage==

Splash damage, and nearby damage, can be incredibly versatile in a 4*/ 5* hero, where paywalls ( RNG hero and RNG ascension items ) can prevent leveling multiple specialists like a 4*/ 5* sniper/ buffer/ debuffer of one color. But 3* special skills are usually too weak to benefit from splash damage and nearby damage. Additionally, 3* 3.50 heroes are possible using only farmable ascension items.

Thanks so much for sharing this info, it’s all I have been wanting to learn about!!! This info is amazing!!! Now I can start building my team’s the right way. Thank you, thank you, thank you

Nice primer, thanks! Curious why Berden isn’t listed among the snipers though? He’s definitely comparable to Bane, Valen, Balthazar and Nashgar.

Mnesseus too, but I think you are limiting this to Season 1 heroes only.
