I’m still a relatively new player. Finally finished ascending Khufu, my first red 5* to be finished. In terms of other monks, I have Azmia limit broken with twenty nodes on the talent grid, C-Drake Fong with three nodes (currently my only ascended 5* yellow), and Wu-Kong with ten nodes. Thinking maybe to strip Wu but also thinking maybe I should just leave everyone as is and slowly gather more?

Congrats on summoning Khufu! Personally, I’d collect the emblems from Wu and give to Khufu, he’s an excellent hero for war defence as he deals so much damage. I think Azmia and Drake can keep their emblems, hope this helps 
I’d have thought that this wouldn’t be such a good trade, especially if a player might use Wu to add to titan damage.
Maxing talents on a hero costs 3 times as many emblems for a 5 star as for a 4 star and buying the first 10 of the 20 talents is cheaper than buying the final 10. You won’t get much from stripping Wu. Its the kind of thing you might do if you had more food and resets than you otherwise need.
You’re still relatively new so I’m not sure giving emblems to Khufu will be useful. At max without emblems he should overwhelm just about anything you come up against right now. You have plenty time to collect more emblems for him. You may need Wu Kongs emblems for a little while yet. He dies very easily without them.
