Please note that Rare Quests don’t usually occur during Challenge Events (a change that was implemented back in 2017 based on player feedback), so it should spawn after the Event ends at some point.

I’m all for changing the schedule but let’s at least give SG credit when they deserve it. This isn’t some self made principle.

Perhaps SG should follow up on their previous consideration.

Should Rare Quests spawn during Challenge Events? poll Is this restriction still relevant? The current strategy means we don’t have to worry about wasting flags during challenge events on rare quests. I could see value in letting the rare quests spawn whenever. We would get more total rare quests since they won’t ever get pushed back (it would be a minimal gain). Nowadays there are so many places to use flags that rare quests aren’t that much different than other quests and POV challenges…

Or maybe not enough players spoke up about this that it fell down in priority.

It used to be Mondays which is no problem with the challenge event. They let it creep into late Tuesday now very likely overlap with the event, and their programming will prevent that.
