I currently have Athena emblemed as my ranger and I’m working on Kingston for my fighter. I’m 1 tabard away from being able to fully ascend Seshat or Panther. Who’s the better choice?
My best defense right now is (Eventually Kingston but RN my highest emblemed 4 star), Athena, Hel, Inari, Marjana.
Seshat would be good for both off and def, while Panther is more of an offensive specialist.
This is a tough choice. Panther is actually the #1 hero on my wish list but I think you should go with Seshat. Panthers special will still do the job at 3.70 but seshat needs to be maxed to be effective. I have Evelyn at 3.70 and I always use her in my green stack and against blue 14* titans. I assume you’ll be able to do the same with Panther. Plus your Panther-Seshat duo will pack a wallop.
I had the same choice. I chose Seshat and Seshat is awesome. But panther is also awesome, and depressingly squishy at 3:70

Okay. Seshat 1st makes sense to me. Two months down the road, who would you pick between Panther & kiona? I haven’t even started raising Kiona.
Somehow, I get all the 5 star purple and only have a couple for each of the other colors
Lol, I got panther, seshat and kiona within weeks of each other, so really do have the same issue. (Also finally got sartana from tc20 at the same time 
)
Khiona would actually fill a “gap” in my roster, and I keep telling meself to do her first BUT as a stand alone, panther is just so awesome, and a pairing of panther + sesh (+any other purples) is devine. So I would strongly advise panther next, with a side note of: these decisions should always take into account which other heroes you have in your roster.

Well if you wanted to you could use the same reasoning to choose Khiona over Panther again and that would be fine. I think I would be more inclined to choose Panther after you get 6 more tabards especially if you’re fighting high level titans. You’ll have plenty of time to get a feel for Panther at 3.70 and by the time you get the tabards you should know if you’re happy with her at 3.70 or if you want to max her.
What level Titans are you hitting?
Khiona is great as a stand alone hero. That attack boost can wipe out a team. I really, really wish she had graced me with her presence. BUT! Panthers purple defense down is basically the opposite of Khiona. One gives attack and the other -def.
It may depend on your focus (titan? War??) and your playstyle (mono? Rainbow?). I’d definitely level Panther for titans and wars. I get my best hits on both with her in my purple stacks. If you run mono, 4-1 or 3-2 stacks I’d also go Panther. If you’re comfortable with rainbow teams then go Khiona.

If you are looking to replace Hel on defense (which if she’s emblemmed I would rather not be doing), Seshat would be great choice.
For everything else, Panther and Panther only. I run my offensive raids with Panther, Hel and Kunchen and they are devastating (even without emblems). Plus Panther is rather on the squishy side, so if you are looking to kill highlevel titans, she won’t survive a hit when on 3.70. I would leave Seshat till after Panther is maxed.
