Optimal Mana Bonus Numbers for Every Mana Speed (Now including Ninja Heroes)

EDIT from 4.9 to 4.905 tiles.

The only thing I’d note here is that it appears that Ninja heroes are about 4.905 tiles per charge.

Charge x1 - 4.905 (5 tiles)
Charge x2 - 9.81 (10 tiles)
Charge x3 - 14.715 (15 tiles)

These numbers match with the discovered mana troops

If this is accurate

              -1 tile -2 tiles -3 tiles -4 tiles -5 tiles
Charge x1 23%
Charge x2 9% 23% 41%
Charge x3 6% 14% 23% 34% 48%

Mica and a lvl 29 Mana troop would fully charge x3 at Average speed (10 tiles) after his full 33% buff.

I tested the +5% mana generation bonus with a mana troop level 1 and an unleveled 1-1 Sapphire and his 3rd charge wasn’t full after 14 tiles.
Here’s how he charged with

  • 3 hitting tiles and 1 ghost tile (=5 tiles)
  • 6 hitting tiles and 1 ghost tile (=8 tiles)
  • 9 hitting tiles and 1 ghost tile (=11 tiles)
  • 12 hitting tiles and a ghost tile (=14 tiles)

In another 8-7 run with this team, Sapphire’s 3rd charge was full with 8 hitting tiles and 3 ghost tiles (=14 tiles).

Am I missing something? Is it possible that ghost tiles give slightly more mana than hitting tiles? Is this just something that can happen with the ninjas due to their charging?

@tyranocus and @ALX, Thank you for the calculation and analyst…
I also recalculate based on @ThePirateKing formula in this thread Mana Generation under buffs/debuffs in offense.
And here is my summary so far:

Ok, it means it needs 7% or maybe 6% to reach 14 tiles? I will try to recalculate again.

Yes, but at least we show the exact information,… and maybe we can adjust with other source like Ariel mana boost, etc…

Ok,…

Speed Tiles default Default x100 Tiles needed Formula Percent Result Needed Rounded
Charge 1x 4.905 490.5 4 4 * (100 + x) = 490.5 22.625 23%
Charge 2x 9.81 981 9 9 * (100 + x) = 981 9 9%
Charge 3x 14.715 1471.5 14 14 * (100 + x) = 1471.5 5.1 6%

You are right. This must be based on 4.905 tiles

I mean saying those %'s aren’t possible is not true, there’s plenty of ways to buff mana. For an example Buff from Ariel alone gives +24% + lvl 17 mana troops gives +11% = 35%.

And yes everyone doesn’t have Ariel, but there’s plenty of heroes that give that +24%

EDIT: I know you probably knew all that already, but just wanted to say because it is possible and the chart says otherwise, which is kind of stupid.

You can’t get that kind of buff constantly though, which is important. Ariel or others are great, but don’t help at the start, and may not be active when you actually have the tiles.

You can’t get those constantly but they are still very important. It’s amazing getting a fast hero to 34% when they charge on three ghosted tiles.

Yup, but I mean it’s pretty constant it happens pretty much in all of my battles with Ariel.

Yes, the important part is board start tiles which is have impact significant, the rest I still write % of requierement to each desire tiles, so that we can gain from boost mana like Ariel, Brynhild, etc…

Don’t forget an extra 4% family bonus possible on three other heroes.

EDIT: It probably would be better to add Alberich for 8-16% Mana gen on top of Mica. So only 2% for family bonus

That makes 90-100%

I meant to include just Mica with other heroes. Such as three Halloween heroes for an extra 12%. Say Vanda, Grazul, Mica, two other Halloween heroes, Vanda’s max Mana gain would be:

Mica: 33%
Grazul: 4%
Family: 12%
Emblems: 4%
Troop: 15%

Total: 68%

… with S3 special tiles: 96%

This is the highest I can get if you don’t count Alberich.

That 68% would have Vanda charging in 4 tiles.

Video I made about loading mana. Along with the formula for calculating speed.

Could someone please share calculations for how many tiles it takes to charge each mana speed hero with 24% mana slow? I.e. you have Elizabeth’s fiend on you the entire battle.

Thanks but I’m looking for numbers for debuffs rather than buffs

Like how many tiles with mana slow ailments of different % such as from Elizabeth, Telly, Mist, etc

Someone correct my maths, but you just need to divide the tiles needed with the percentage of mana regen after the slow/cut.

For example, if you get -24% mana generation, then 1 tile will give 76% normal mana or 0.76 mana. So a fast hero will require 8/0.76 or 10.5 (11 rounded up) tiles.

Troops will affect this of course, so a level 1-4 mana troop increases by 5% so it’s 8/0.81 = 9.88 (10) tiles

Hi there! Trying to understand how mana nodes influence my heroes and troops. I’ve seen the info scattered around threads and in many I’ve seen the tools I need to calculate this and my conclusion is… I am dumb… can someone smart complete The following for me?

A) Slow hero with mana nodes
Troop lvl needed to shave a tile: X

B) Slow hero with costume and mana node
Troop lvl needed to shave a tile: x

C) Average hero w/ mana node
Troop lvl needed to shave a tile: X

D) Average hero w/costume and mana mode
Troop lvl needed to shave a tile: X

E) Fast hero w/ mana node
Troop needed : x

F) Fast w/ mana node and costume
Troop needed: X

G) V fast w/ mana node
Troop needed: x

H) V. Fast her w/mana node and costume (when it happens)
Troop needed: x

Thank you in advance to any good soul that helps me, it’s been driving me crazy for a while and as a result I haven’t taken any mana nodes :frowning:

I just wanted to mention that mana nodes are different for different classes so you’d need an additional line.

Druid, monk and sorcerer classes give a 4% mana bonus while all other classes give 2%.
