{OFFER} Gem Extravaganza + Bonus "Mystery" Offer -- Thoughts and Discussion

Gems themselves are used to buy so many things nowadays… Chest skip, tournament continue, alchemy lab… I try to discipline myself to pull only for coins/tokens and do not spend gems on summons, unless there’s something I am heavily after (like this month with Rabit + HotM). Of course all depends on how many offers you actually buy and what is it you are looking for in this game…

I actually don’t use gems for any of those things. Occassionaly I’ll use 75 gems if I’m in trouble on a quest.

Just don’t buy it though many players will be caught in the trap. Btw, from my experience games that push players to buy more is about to shut down.

Yeah it felt like something they’d done before, guess it was a while back now though so hard to remember my feelings at that time.

But we know a lot has happened (lot of negativity, lot more begging for our money) since last Xmas so this “spend money and we’ll give you a mystery offer” just feels really bad. Money should only ever be for guaranteed items. If anything is based on RNG or “mystery” it needs to be done with in-game currency (gems).

Thanks for the info, the so called “Mystery Offer” is another gems offering package…

They seems expecting player buy them all and use for 10 pulls ? $19.95 for 2800 gems which is enough for a 10 pulls. :unamused:

Thats my thoughts exactly.
Paying for something, while i have no idea what it will be is… fishily and kinda low.
Hope SG wont go this path, its pathetic.

I actually just had the same thought. Maybe they are not doing so well as we think and are indeed desperate?? Now I feel bad to have recycled the balloon

But we have had this offer before…

I distinctly remember the monkeys then the flamingo.

It was a while ago for sure but I remember it

Yeah, that was a fun Saturday night. But you promised never to tell anyone about it. :disappointed:

We never signed the pact!

And since it wasn’t in Vegas the “what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas” rule wasn’t in force either :joy:

It seems like the number of offers has increased a lot in the past few months. Could be Zynga is strapped for cash since it just dumped a whole bunch into two new acquisitions

Zynga buys Peak in June for $1.8 billion in cash and Zynga stock

Zynga buys 80% of Rollic in August for $168 million cash

I think the person making the offer jus got it wrong, they meant to have it be 300 gems for 1 dollar and then 1600 gems for 4$. @KiraSG it’s okay we understand mistakes happen. But could you please correct this mistake immediately! Thank you! :+1:

Very sad, they might as well call this Puzzle Casino at the rate they’re shilling ‘offers’

I remember the good old days when SG was happy to have people sign up for vip and make an occasional gems purchase. It’s all so clear in my mind, just as if it was only months ago…

Yeh, when big corporations buy out small companies it doesn’t ever seem to benefit the consumer :woman_shrugging:
