One tabard away from my Black Swan but I’m a little nervous she is aging out (already…wtf). Melodymuse just came out: base def is 21% higher (1155 vs 953), health is 9.5% higher (2024 vs 1849), heal is 49.5% higher (minus all the chip hits for Odile).
With legendary troops she won’t charge in 7 tiles like fast heroes used to. So at 8 tiles to charge, better off just using a stronger avg speed healer? You’re still a big fan though @Gimliv ?
I still use her in my best team.
No regrets. I live with charginhg in 8 tiles, she is sturdy, evades (rogue talent) many attacks, overheals and causes the opponents damage.
Good thing about Odile is the fact that she is using the heroes around her so she kinda just grows in strength with the power creep when paired with stronger and stronger heroes.
I also still use her in my main team. She prevents most debuffs and does moderate damage.
Because I use her on offense and defense, my main team is more defensive, which. Reduces her overall damage, but the added def helps me survive bad boards when attacking.
I bring her with another healer, Hathor. I sometime rotate in a 3rd healer (Blossom) to burn through fiends heavy enemy teams. But, one other healer is usually enough.
For context, I float between 3250 and 3450 cups, and I face mostly C. Diaochans, the yellow and blue costumed equivalents (the ones with the same passive), heavy goblin teams, slime teams, some insanity teams, that op yellow bow elf, softskin mana degen teams, and teams with some of those new dancers that put my heroes to sleep.
Ah,. the board. That’s the crapshoot, isn’t it? The inconsistency is maddening, especially in War, but that is part of the game. Sometimes, though, it seems completely unfair. It would be nice to have a shot at “kind of unfair” instead of just a complete sh*t show where you don’t really have a chance. I’ve learned how to try to manipulate bad boards, but when bad tiles after bad tiles keep coming up, it’s time to flee.
Tusak, can I ask what you do to ’manipulate bad boards’ pal. I’m really curious on your tactics! Anything to help my lesser roster against these insane monster poppers !!
There are only a couple of situations such as when the enemy heroes have riposte or damage upon buff removal where you should be firing costume Hathor with guaranteed mana boost before your hitter heroes.
I was reminded the other day why Costume Hathor edges out Melodymuse - Her 10% mana boost.
Can you also please stop mashing the buttons, it doesn’t make the animations go faster ( lol jk )
I don’t hold back on firing Hathor (I never use her costume) as she gives a decent 700+ Over heal and mana bump to all. Over heal was and is essential for the team’s survival and when she can load up to 5000 Health, she can keep firing all the way.
The game is so slow that sometimes I think I hit the special skill and move the tile only to realise I didn’t fire the SS, and then i see the enemy buffs are still running like the Odele’s sleeper hits. Hence I do a lot of violence to my cards.
