A little healer heavy, but these are my best heroes TP wise… Can be a little annoying with 3 very fast healers, but not too hard to defeat. Am not sure whether to go for lower TP with more hitters, what do you think, kind sir? @Scarecrow

I’m going to try a ‘mana’ stop approah. Little John, Li Xu and Proteus - with Boldtusk and Kiril to keep the team alive, and the hits harder. The fast mana for the mana stoppers should keep opponents from firing off specials.
Of course, watch the defense go 1 - 9 when it is all over.

Jackal is anyway very fast. Though they have no emblems, the left side should be changed. LJ and Li Xiu.

Big John +18, not bad! Dont have to be a scientist to know you got no Kage :upside_down_face:

Kage is 3.70 still waiting for 3 tabards to go.
I also have Azlar +2.

I probably reset John, once if Kage will be maxed, but Big John works very well especially on rush attacks.

My thoughts about this kind of tournaments, with all colours… It’s pretty obvious the most opponents will stack at least 3 heroes of the opposite colour of your tank. In this case, you should choose a colour which is the least affected of the opposite colour. That would be purple, of course. There is no healer, no dispeller, among yellows. Mana cut heroes as Chao and Li are no more efficient at rush attack; your defense will replenish the loss immediately, with the next wave of puzzle.

Also, a second recommended colour for the tank, is green. No dispeller among reds. And a talented Gadeirus is for a epic team, what is Ares for a legendary, but much better. Because no red dispeller, like I said (but for Ares are Sonya, Frida and even Richard by debuff). Besides, a talented LJ or Skittleskull at rush attack is painful. But of course, Gadeirus is the best option for this colour, because you can increase his defensive stat, by bringing in team at least another 2 heroes of the same family.

So, bottom line, the best choice for this tournament is a purple tank. Because the reasons I said above. A talented Proteus at rush attack is a game changer. As Tiburtus is. Avoid setting healers as tank. You just make the job easier for an experienced opponent.

I’ve come up with 3 choices but can’t see if one stands out above the others. So many options here and yes, have to set up with a stacked attacker in mind.

First one. +10% def for the three heroes in the middle. Also, I would replace Kiril with LJ.

Interesting thoughts, thanks for sharing that. I only briefly considered tanking my Proteus. If my pieces are as follows, what do you think:

Red: BT+18, Wilbur+14
Blue: Grimm+18, Kiril+17
Green: Caedmon+18, Melendor +14
Yellow: nothing exceptional
Purple: Proteus+17

Assume I have maxed but not talented versions of all other S1 and S2 heroes EXCEPT (lol your recommended tank) Gadeirus. So Little John, Hu Tao, and Skittleskull, etc. are also available.

I’d definitely bring more than a single dispeller hoping to get at least one ready to avoid damage for my own team by throwing tiles at you.
