mana-boost Mana Boost At the start of each battle, this Hero receives a small amount of mana over 6 turns.
In battles with multiple waves, the effect is refreshed at the beginning of each wave.
:no_entry_sign: Resists: Summons a Sparrow Minion for self when an enemy summons any Minions by Special Skill.
:dizzy: Special Skill: Sparrow Fury
  • Recovers 10% health to all allies.
  • Summons a Sparrow Minion for each ally. The Sparrow Minion inherits 25% HP and 25% attack from the caster.
  • Before Sparrow Minion hits target, it destroys all Minions from the target.
  • Element Link gives all Fire allies +30% defense against Special Skills for 4 turns. This effect can’t be dispelled.

Special thanks to @Garanwyn for assistance on summoning odds and proofreading for this section.

It’s important to remember that HOTM have very low summoning odds. No amount of summoning will guarantee a HOTM.

On average, in a 10-pull, you have a 12.3% chance of summoning the HOTM.

But that statistic can lead our minds astray in exactly how our odds play out as we continue summoning.

Some useful insights:

  • 73 times out of 100, you’ll get a HOTM by pull 100
  • 95 times out of 100, you’ll get a HOTM by pull 229
  • 99 times out of 100, you’ll get a HOTM by pull 352

Putting that in Perspective

  • 27 out of every 100 people won’t get the HOTM by the 100th pull

  • If 1 Million players each summoned 100 times, 270,000 of those players wouldn’t get the HOTM

  • 5 out of every 100 people won’t get the HOTM by the 229th pull

  • If 1 Million players each summoned 229 times, 50,000 of those players wouldn’t get the HOTM

This guy doesn’t do any real damage and only has business with minons thing. Seems not too good, not to mentions he/she is being slow, unless SG change her to average, let’s see

Average is good and minion health is good . No enemy can’t hide behind minions because of noor’s minion so sounds good , but telluria and vela will be escaped (resist negative effect from minion counts minion removal by minions , am I correct ? ) but don’t change her fast then she will OP.

Those are pretty high attack minions… Put together with Freya, that could do some noticeable scattergun fire.

Looks very situational on the face of it, especially at slow, but could be very useful in the right situations.

Let’s wait and see if any changes sneak in before release before casting too much judgement.

The innate ability is interesting in the wave of minions spinning by special skills…secondly as mentioned by @BubblesUK, the minions stats should not be overlooked… Especially when she gets to dish them on all allies…and she appeared sturdy enough to that.

I often use Freya in raids. High speed minions + defense ups have saved us some times, but Freya’s fast mana speed.
It’s hard to imagine a scene where Noor creates a minion and it helps. This is because at slow mana speed, the battle situation is almost finalized when the charge is completed.
So even if I get Noor, I’ll probably continue to sit 1/1.

Imo, she is just a minion killer, ordinarily keeping her in the team, you can be sure some.enemies minions are going to die…she doesn’t even need to mana up before it starts to happen, that is the niche in her innate ability…and then when she fires, she produces minion beef -minion heaters on all allies…

Since all the sand heroes are “average” heroes (none must have, not even Roc) and Noor is really an underwhelming HotM, i suggest all F2P players out there to NOT use their coins on the upcoming event.

Of course i will keep mine as well.

I would say the Sand Challenge is the worse of the seasonal events in terms of heroes.

If she remains slow, she would be underwhelming, even if her minions are quite nice. She could have an interesting sinergy with Freya though.

I decided to hold on my tokens until July, despite not having Raff. I have three slow Legendary healers though already (Viv Costumed Version, MT and Heimdall). Noor is gimmicky and situationally useful at best, though her innate ability makes her better. BUT THOSE LIL’ SPARROWS ARE SO GODDAMN CUTE! That is all what matters to me.

At this point I only want her because of the collector in me, I’ll be doing my sand empire pulls in July because I already have Raf. If I pull her she’ll sit in my roster untouched for awhile, but I’ll probably get to her eventually. II don’t pull her :woman_shrugging: NBD.

I didn’t even think of this. Did anyone in beta take note of thorn minions from her class replacing sparrows? Seems like an oversight from the hero creators.
