Welcome to Athena’s Shield!
We started this alliance after trying multiple alliances that did not suit our play style. We believe we’ll all have more fun by playing with people of the same level of commitment.
This is an active player alliance and members are expected to participate daily. We strive to be a positive, construction team where everyone can learn and grow both individually and as an alliance. Our goal is to continue to improve and grow stronger through a coordinated team effort without sucking the life out of the game.
Offline Chat:
We have a Line chat available with information on game play where we can share player resources, links, and screenshots. Please keep non-game related conversation out of the in-game chat to keep notifications to a minimum.
In Game Chat:
In game chat will be used to discuss game play, strategy, learning, and notifications if you will be offline for a while. Please keep personal chats to offline messaging apps. All chat to be respectful. We understand some may get frustrated and invite healthy conversations about how to improve both as an alliance and as members within the alliance, including feedback for the leaders.
War:
Opting into war is not mandatory; however, by opting in you agree to play all six flags. If you don’t have time or not enough teams, simply opt out when you join or any time prior to the start of the next war. We may try to coordinate strikes if timing is possible and will help with defense team setup if needed. Our war strategy may evolve to be more complex and coordinated once team members are ready and able.
Titans:
Titan hits are mandatory. The final strike statistic serves no benefit so please use flags when available instead of waiting to be the last strike. We may suggest saving flags if it seems we will not defeat the titan, but understand we are all here to play.
Non-compliance:
Failure to hit 3 titans back to back results in kick
Failure to use 6 flags in back to back wars results in kick
Inactivity for 3 days without notice and opting out of war results in kick
*Trophy requirement may be waived depending on commitment of the player
As the alliance grows, we may assign duties to other members.
