I have Gregorion at 3/70 and Lianna at 2/60. I have the mats to ascend Greg (shields and tonics) but I only have 4 shields right now so while I can ascend Lianna to 3/70, I can’t take her to max yet until I get 4 more shields.

Lianna would help with green stack raiding more as she is the same speed as Evelyn but Greg is already part of my Titan stack and ascending him would give me the extra option of using my next 4 shields on Buddy instead while I save up tonics for Lianna, which would help Titans even more.

Thoughts?

That is a really close call. I would lean towards Lianna . The Evelyn & Lianna synergy is so good. Greg is a little underwhelming in the most settings other than Titans, where his crit buff really kills it. Fortunately, you can get his crit buff maxed out at 3/70.

It’s a shame, however, to leave poor buddy out in the cold. He’s a really helpful hero

Thanks for the input. The synergy between Lianna and Evelyn is probably too much to ignore.

I do hate not being able to level Buddy anytime soon, but let’s face it; as one of Santa’s elves, he’s likely used to being left out in the cold.

Greg pairs very well with Eve as well, just FYI. Crit tiles with nature down is huge, and generally you can still fire Greg while the Eve nature down is still in place. Having said that… my Greg is also at 3/70 and I’m having a hard time deciding between him, hatter and morgan… his 3 turn crit just leaves a lot to be desired. If anyone has a great reason for morgan here, happy to hear it as I generally prefer to error on the side of fast.

I can tell you that Eve + Greg is also a one shot kill 90% of the time. I still haven’t pulled a Lianna, so I can’t do a direct compare and contrast. His biggest drawback is the average mana, but as folks said, you can time it so that eve’s special is still active when Greg is ready.

I’ll just add to that response u got from @Kerridoc by saying Buddy is one not to completely ignore. He’s a little bugger and when maxed can b a pain dealing with. Also agree 100% with Lianna and Evelyn together. I’ve been shut down by those gals probably just as many times as in real life… drummroll. I have Evelyn and Morgan together and they work nice but Evelyn and Lianna is a pair to have. Best of luck.

You won’t regret maxing Gregorion.
Lianna is the best green hitter? Yes… Who is the second best Green hitter? Greg.
Take him today to 4th tier and start enjoying a great powerful hero… Or wait MAYBE three months (or more) and THEN start to enjoy another great hero.
