My hero dilemma - lacking a color to work on

My dilemma is something that I’ve had happen in the past, before I got TC 20 running, but it’s taken a long time to get to this point again. I currently have 2 TC20 going, so there’s a chance this problem solves itself in the next day or two, but that’s unlikely.

I am almost out of red heroes to work on. Currently I have the following maxed out:
4*: Boldtusk, Colen, Gormek, Kellie, Scarlett
3*: Azar, Hawkmoon, Jahangir, Namahage

My red options are:

  1. Nashgar sits at 3.42 out of 3.50 and is my current priority. His special is at 5/8.
  2. Guardian Kong sits at 3.70, and is lacking 1 item to ascend.
  3. I have a second copy of Boldtusk, Colen, and Scarlett that I can begin working on.
  4. I can simply feed reds to other color heroes. I have 21 non-duplicates total in other colors.

I’m planning to finish Nashgar to 3.50, but then I need to decide what to do next. I’m leaning towards just feeding off-color for a while.

The non-maxed heroes I have are:
Current priorities by color: Isarnia, Li Xiu, Obakan, Skittleskull

Others ( alphabetically): Ameonna, Arman, Berden, Carver, Chochin, Friar Tuck, Gan Ju, Gato, Gill-Ra, Hisan, Melia, Mnessus, Muggy, Richard, Skittleskull, Triton,Tyrum,Valen

Is off-color the right answer, or should I go for a second copy of one of my 4* red?

I would start a 2nd Boldtusk waiting for that last AM u need for Guardian Kong… If your AM is set of rings next Mount Umber rare quest will be in about 3 weeks…

There are some heroes worth to have dups and Boldtusk is definetly one of them… u can take him to 3.60 while waiting for that last item…

Boldusk and then another Boldusk. For war 6 is a good idea. Well unless you have duplicate Wilburs.

Definetly 2nd boldtusk, one of the best 4star, heal pluss buff, won’t regret it

I have duplicate Wilburs, which is why I also have duplicate Boldtusks. Best combo!

I want to thank all of you who posted. I didn’t end up leveling a second Boldtusk yet, due to getting the last mat I needed to ascend Guardian Kong, and then Bauchan which gave me another new red hero, but I have maxed both of them fully, and now have the following red options:

Boldtusk
Colen
Namahage
Scarlett
Use the feeders off- color

I’m planning off-color feeding for a bit, since I still have a lot of unique heroes to level, including 8 classic 5* that range from 1.01 to 3.70.

I’m convinced the right answer is either off-color, Boldtusk #2 or Namahage #2, just unsure which; and frankly it may not matter that much.

Any thoughts on the Namahage versus Boldtusk versus off-color dilemma would be welcomed.

I leveled (and emblems) a second BT because I love Wilbur, have strong red heroes and BY works so well with him.

I have several healers because I always want the option to take 2 healers for an attack war. J also find 2 healers are required for the final stages in events.
