All Chameleon heroes get temporary added to the family. So they get the family bonus as long as the original hero is unique.

Hmm, did this change? I tested this in Beta and saw otherwise:

Chameleon Mode heroes maintain their own Family (or lack thereof) when resurrected, so any normal Family Bonus applies. They don’t become Lagoon Family.
