If I had enough 4.80 heroes I would always run 3-2 when attacking in war and 3-1-1 when attacking in raid, where my triple stack would be mainly to deal with the tank with tiles and then to kill the remaining survivors with a synergic attack (as Evelyn, Lianna and Gregorion) and my 1-1 for my safety nets as Vivica and Rigard.
By having at least a triple stack you could always have a chance to win even if your stacked heroes are dead, thanks to the heavy damage/tile that could kill heroes before charging them.
Mono isn’t meta for raids but it could be it for wars, when having to attack a strong defense with “subpar heroes”.
