Does Kong and Mitsuko synergize? Both protects all red in their own way but do they play well together?

In what sense? Mitsuko’s reflect will supersede G. Kong’s elemental protection when it is active. But they should play reasonably well together.

Mitsuko reflects blue damage but Kong reduces the blue damage

But still puts opponent in a tough spot of goin vs 2 reds and usin somethin other than blues

Hmmmm so I can go with:

Zim - Anzogh - Mitsuko - Kong - Azlar

I will gamble with the attacker. If his board is blue, I lose. If not, too bad. :rofl:

Ares would be an asap max if i had him but i know that’s not a popular opinion

Where would you fit Ares in the mono red?

My Ares is maxed.

I dont mono outside of events and purple titans
But if i had to choose, think I’d go ares instead of anzogh, and put ares in between azlar and kong(off the top of my head without seeing and comparing stats)

Ares > Anzogh all day baby! If that is gonna be your defense, I’d go Zim/Ares/Mits/Azlar/G.Kong.

I have maxed the other 4. Only Kong and Anzogh is new to me.

Still wondering if Ares is better than Anzogh at flank.

Ares is originally a tank, but could be a decent flank in this setup. I’m still not convinced about Anzogh.

Since you’re going for the ‘all or nothing’ approach, you might as well run Ares tank and go:
Zim/Mits/Ares/Azlar/Kong.

I don’t know about popularity of this opinion but I definitely agree. He looks like one of the most powerful and versatile heroes in the game. I’d dump any resources into him if I had him.
