BTW, I know that Ace took Miki towards the defensive path, to the point where he reached 800+ defense stat.
I think with stats like this he becomes more viable for defense teams. Obviously he wouldn’t be the first choice, but if your options are limited in barbarians and say you tank with blue for wars – then he wouldn’t be a bad idea to emblem 
Silence can be quite lethal as it can shut down your healer/cleanser.
EDIT: what I’m trying to say is that emblems on him might make sense, depending on your priorities and choices.
