The titan loot tier tells you how big chances for good loot you have. You can see the tier number in roman numbers above the loot. The higher the tier, the bigger the chance. Of course there is no guarantee that you will get good loot, you just have better chances with higher tier.
The tier is same as titan level. If you make better than C-score it goes up:
A+ = 3 tiers (top damage)
A = 2 tiers, (2-6 in damage)
B = 1 tier, don’t know where the line goes or how C works. I have gotten C on a escaped 9* titan and it gave loot tier I.
So basically getting A+ on a 5* titan is exactly the same as getting B on 7*. Something to keep in mind when going to a better alliance. Can you keep up with the damage of others, is your loot tier going up or down.
