Preprepared Teams
Using Hero.io (by @GDIBass ) I have pre-prepared the following teams. I don’t think I’ll change them at all, despite not knowing what the bosses will be on each stage… Teams I’ve created are ones which I’ve played with a fair bit and have a great deal of synergy.
Stages 1 → 3 = 3* Teams (Naturally with my 4* troops tho).
I still have heaps left over & realistically think I could probably do up to about stage 5 or 6 using 3* heroes and battle items… BUT that’s not needed…

Stages 4 & 5 = 4* hero teams
Stage 6 = bitsa team of 4-80s
This team is sorta left-over 4-80s after I built teams 7-10 specifically for their synergy… The leftovers if you will.
Stages 7 → 10 = Synergistic Teams!
All teams are 3-2 stacks because that is how I usually play (except Challenge Events & Titans).

Personally I would have loved the Tavern of Legends to be more “endless”… something like this:

The roster master I think is the HIGHLIGHT of this quest… Not the Tavern or summons portal or anything.
So what I would propose is to make this a proper challenging event… A never ending one!
Basically what I propose is:
Get rid of most of the stages that currently are there
Remove the inability to rerun stages
Scale back the coin rewards
Basically I suggest having 5 tiers with fixed difficulties and coin rewards. You can then return/ replay each stage as many times as you like, until you either a) get bored b) run out of heroes or C) run out of World Energy.
So potentially:

1800 TP
5 coins
Tier 2
2400 TP
10 coins
Tier 3
3000 TP
15 coins
Tier 4
3600/3800 TP

Tier 5
4400 TP
30 coins
Doing this has several benefits:
Introduces strategy… How many times do you attempt the high level high reward stages? Or do you scale back to the lower ones & play it safe?
Adds a challenge… New players can farm/ do the lower stages repeatedly, thus earning coins. Late game/ long term and deep roster players have something to stretch themselves by too.
I would also suggest to make the bosses each time random… Have a set base of Hp, attack and defence and essentially just reskin the boss/es randomly to get different looks, final battles and also special effects.
