I don’t normally complain about war matchmaking, but this most recent one is legitimately buggy. ~28k difference in war score.
Mistake made. Lesson learned.

That thread is more about criticizing the match making concept and rationale. This is a straight up execution bug.
Mistake made. Lesson learned.
We had a similar ununusual match up of a Top 5 war score against one that is 4000 war points lower. 139k vs. 135k. At this level, matchups are normally predictable.
We are 135k against a 126k alliance. Were 13 points difference from who we thought we’d get.
We have also a big difference in war alliance. It’s this a bug?
Same with Malice in Blunderland. We’re a top 20 team and we’ve been matched against a team that might not be top 500. I feel for them.
I posted in another thread as well. Our war score is 79K and their score 97K. Their average strength 4599/4600. Ours 44xx. They really should reshuffle again.
Sarah, they can’t all be bad. But some matches defy explanation.
I agree… I had to check after seeing the obvious mismatches above.
They do get it right sometimes too
For me, with all the full/almost full alliances I’ve been on, the war score has almost always been identical. This one for us is off by 12k which is a lot, in my opinion, and the first time I’ve seen that big a difference.
We’re having the same problem, though the gap is only 12k, but on FB I did see more of these mismatches. Seems like a bug to me
