I did have to tidy up rare and epic. Legendary Iāve not touched since Thursday and itās still holding strong. Kinda makes me think I can make a push for Top 100 if I prep better for it nowā¦

But itās hardā¦I used 4 flasks before it finally relented and gave me a good board on 10

Youāll probably need to ignore Rare and Epic and just concentrate all your time, items, and flasks on Legendary
I am safely in top 1000 for rare and legendary, and top 5000 for epic. Time to put the phone down and do my RL paid job for a whileā¦ā¦

Thanks, tried those several times before and this morning but canĀ“t get it to work. Top5k will have to do for me. I compared scores with previous Slayers event and this time theyĀ“re really a lot higher to get into top 500.

Really happy my desired tiers held with only a few replays. I basically made it to my desired scores on Friday, and just used up excess WE to maintain, and didnāt have to think about the event much the rest of the weekend

I just wish the 6 ehts I got from the rewards could have been used for the seasonal event. Guess they are now the first deposits in the xmas savings account.
Iām guessing itās because almost everyone has Franz now.
@Cheds @Liam_K , is it still even worth trying to go for epic top 500 without Franz? And do you use him on all stages?
I barely made it in Gargoyles, and thereās been a CoK since, so scores are likely to increase across the board.
Franz comes on all stages yes.
My team was Wilbur, Falcon, C.Colen, Lance, Franz. Used that on all of them.

Thanks, thatās what I feared. I think I can kiss goodbye to epic until I get him. I shouldāve summoned in CoK despite Klaernās looming threat. 
Any reason why you didnāt use Cillian instead of c Colen?
For the rather elegantly simple reason of not having him. And I donāt summon in Slayers due to none of the 5* really interesting me.

I mean i did try in earlier Slayer portals but never snagged him. Given where the Slayer 5* now sit none of them really help me now so Iām not going to hit a portal just for a 4* until itās absolutely essential I need him. Which is the case in point for Franz. I didnāt get him until the 2nd pass around but that didnāt really hinder me at the time.
But for sure heās now so prevalent that you will struggle to go Top 500 without him. Not saying itās impossible with some other combinations but in an event with Damage reduction heās gold.

I donāt have Franz, so wonāt push for top 500 except maybe for the Gargoyles since itās reflect Green

Yup, I already struggled last time I tried, now itāll be close to impossible, or require more replays than I can be bothered with.
Gargoyles has damage reduction as well and CF has elemental resistance, so itās pretty much curtains for me until I get him.
For what itās worth I used Franz in all the Gargoyle stages as well.
Life became a lot easier then

Oh, so itās you I saw zoom past me in the rankings. 
Seriously, I finished 446th, which is way too close for comfort, and it took every bit of patience I had. I think itās fair to assume that at least 55 event players have pulled Franz since.
But itās great news! Iāll need to craft fewer axes, bombs and mana pots. Which stage of grief is that again? Bargaining?

Rare had 1,002,665 players, a new low.
I was focusing on legendary, and placed 145th. Wanted to ask a. Question ? When I use a tornado and letās say I get a lucky cascade of 18 combo. Does that count towards match bonus? Or do you have to manually match for it to count towards match bonus?

Nope, nado doesnāt count towards moves I.e all combos donāt count as well but used properly can help keep a nice 1st move combo and fill heroes so you can finish without making any additional moves
