There is a translation error, the English version is 720 HP over 4 turns, the Chinese version is 4 HP over 720 turns.
Wrong translation of this hero costume. It is “todos os inimigos dividem dano” instead of "todos aliados dividem dano.
A problem of consistency and clarity on the recent health boost heroes in French.
The text for older heroes were quite clear.
Arguably, the verb “booster” is not traditional french, but it has appeared in the French dictionaries and is understood by everybody.
Now, on the more recent hp boost heroes we have “fait gagner” for wolfgang, and “reçoit” for Lughaidh.
Both these formulations are very unclear. None of these have the meaning of “over the top” like “boost” have.
It’s even worse for Prof Lidenbrock, who have “booste” in the description of the first effect, but “augmente” in the second. I realized writing this post that the effect over time is also a boost, which is totally unclear on the French version.
So that’s 4 different translations for “boost” which should be translated directly by “booste”
More events, more mistakes. Which language is native for your Russian-English translators? I more and more suspect that neither of those two!
I mean who doesn’t know how Mack reads (Мак, not Мэк)
Or how to read the French name D’Andre (Д’Андре, not Д’Эндр)
Or that Poppie (Поппи) sounds a lot like Butt in Russian, which leads to a host of derogatory jokes, so should be better creatively translated (the direct meaning is masculine, so pick another flower like Ромашка) or altered (something like Пеппи).
This looks more and more ridiculous every year. Hire professionals! Native to the language they translate INTO (general rule for any decent literary translation). And not just speaking it but having a corresponding education.
c.Santa have dumb skill name in polish
It should be “Dar rocka”, not “Dar kamienia” because kamień (kamienia) is physical rock like this:
There is no translation for “Rock” in terms of music, its still “Rock” in polish.
Translation error from English to Russian. Fura is Poisoner, not Prisoner - Отравительница, а не Узница. Sorry for any mistakes in my post, I am new here. Another thing is her name. Spelled like that it literally means “wagon, truck”. Is it pronounced this way in English or is it closer to Фьюра or Фюра? It would sound more like an exotic name.
It has been a long time since I reported some translation errors and suggestions.
Again, I really appreciate to the E&P developers and translators for giving positive feedbacks on every translation issue I suggested. It is remarkable that E&P gives full translation service in many world languages on every new features with a large number of text and Korean Language is one of them.
This time, I came back with plenty suggestions found for months on Korean translation. For so many translation issues, I categorized them into three. An article with 3 stars reports wrong translations that would lead to a wrong gameplay. The 2-star means they are actually wrong, but does not really bother in understanding the gameplay. The 1-star means that I can’t actually say it is wrong, but I would like to suggest a better translation idea.

패배 > 처치
When a titan is defeated, “패배(Defeat)” sounds the players lost the battle.
In the Player Profile, “Titans Defeated” is translated “타이탄 처치함” and it sounds more natural, therefore I suggest “처치” over “패배” when it shows defeat on the defeated Titan image in Korean. -

scorch: 그을음(3 letters) >> 작열

Captain Kestrel (케스트렐 대위 >> 케스트렐 선장) ★★
As he is a pirate (Buccaneer), The Captain, Kestrel’s title would not mean the rank of naval officer (대위) but the person in charge of the ship (선장) -
Delilah (델리아 >> 딜라일라) ★★
Named after the character in the Holy Bible, Delilah has been called wrong as DE-LI-AH (델리아) in Korean version. Korean name of Delilah has some variety so we may choose one of them. Her most well known Korean pronunciation is “데릴라”, written in the Holy Bible as Hebrew for a century. But in the Holy Bible with revised translation released 20 years ago, her name has been changed to “들릴라” which is closer to Hebrew pronunciation.
Even so, I suggest “딜라일라”, following in American English. Delilah in E&P world is not the character in the Holy Bible, so we don’t call her following Hebrew pronunciation. -
(corrected) Lady Locke & Lady Loki (레이디 로키 & 레이디 로키 >> 레이디 로크 & 여군주 로키) ★★
Not only those two characters share the same Korean name, but Lady Locke should be translated differently in Korean. Lady Locke should be “레이디 로크” [leidi lok], as I believe it would be the common pronunciation to read Locke. (as John Locke, the British Philosopher)
On the other hand, I suggest the Korean title for Lady Loki as “여군주 로키 (female-Lord Loki)”, which is an equivalent title to Lord Loki (군주 로키), when they are not married couple, but his transgender form. -
Friar Tuck (프라이어 턱 >> 터크 수사) ★
Friar Tuck is from the Robin Hood legend, which is a well known folklore in Korea as well. His name with his title is “터크 수사” in Korean. -
(corrected) Salmon Loki : (새먼 로키 > 연어 로키) ★
Since the Salmon Loki looks like a salmon, I found no reason to translate Salmon as 새먼 which is transcribed by English pronunciation. -
(corrected) Phoenicus (포니커스 > 피니커스 or 포에니쿠스) ★★
It might be derived from Phoenicopterus, a genus in the flamingo family
I suggest two Korean translation. 피니커스 follows the English pronunciation (Phee-ni-cus as Phoenix), while 포에니쿠스 follows the Latin pronunciation rule in Korea, if it derived from its genus name. -
(corrected) Aderyn (아든 > 애더린 or 아데린) ★★
Aderyn cannot be translated as “아든” and maybe it is mistaken by Arden.
Its origin is Welsh, so I suggest 애더린 [ae-der-ryn], but 아데린 [a-de-ryn] is also an option if it is read in other language, such as german. -
Silthus (실리더스 > 실더스) ★★
Correction from 실리더스[sil-li-thus] to 실더스[sil-thus]. -
(corrected) Mother North (머더 노스 > 마더 노스) ★★
I have no idea why mother is translated as “머더” which reminds “murder”. There is no arguing that mother is translated as “마더” in Korean. -
Rumpelstiltskin (룸펠슈틸츠킨 > 럼플스틸츠킨 or 룸펠슈틸츠헨)
Rumpelstiltskin is English variation, so it is pronounced as (럼플스틸츠킨)
Original German word is Rumpelstiltzchen (룸펠슈틸츠헨)
So, current translation 룸펠슈틸츠킨 is neither English nor German. -
The Hatter (해터 > 모자장수)
Since “The Hatter” is the character from “Alice in the Wonderland,” it should follow the original translation. Moreover, He is “The” Hatter. -
Names from non-English Language: Although some names of the character are obviously from the other language, they are translated in English style, while the others in the same family are following the language of their origin. Most of them cannot be actually reviewed as wrong, but I would suggest them for better consistency and understanding their backgrounds.

(3) Stack: (Max 10): all enemies get -7% mana generation per each killed enemy or enemy minion.
In Korean translation, there is no difference between “dead enemy” and “killed enemy”, which is critical to understand. In this skill, “dead enemy” are the enemies which is dead before using this skill in the wave so that the skill damage is increased by the number of dead enemies. On the other hand, “killed enemy” are the enemies killed by this skill and the remaining enemies on the field are damaged by the number of killed enemies and minions. -

More new heroes - more proofs of your translators incompetence:
Jove is in Russian Юпитер
NOT Иов that is Iob as in Old Testament!
Swedish has maybe 200 errors but most are so minor I ignore it. Like a repeat word in the season 5 campaign or the like.
But your new hero has the wrong description, could maybe even lower your summoning rates. In English he hits ALL for minor damage. In Swedish he hits NEARBY with minor damage.
Then there’s an old mistake that I just didn’t have the energy to correct and that I thought would be corrected by someone else. But it’s been maybe 4 years and it hasn’t happened yet so including that one too.
I was the one that suggested we use Fantastic as a word for healing potions since Swedish has less adjectives and translated the two highest to the same thing. And ‘Superhelande’ isn’t a real world, just something you find badly translated health sites or influencers using.
Anyway onwards to the problem. The one fixing that mistake didn’t like that the highest mana potion now shared the same prefix as the next highest healing potion so they went ahead and changed prefix for the mana potion too. But they don’t use the same inflection so they got it wrong. The mana potion should be ‘Fantastisk Manabrygd’, need to get rid of the T.
Would it be possible ep to have a general look at the translation into Danish, as quite many heroes, has wrong descriptions, that are entirely opposite the english version?
Example. Wilbur and khagan(c) gives the enemy defense help, and mana, when the specials are fired.
Its very extreme and should be fixed, as its more than possible to get heroes used wrongly.
I don’t think they look at this thread any longer. Jove still says that he’s a hit-3 hero in Swedish, despite him hitting all.
Hello !
I think there is a mistake in the translation of Arco’s capacity (third part) in french.
In english :
"All allies’ health is boosted by 75 HP for each Minion owned by allies. "
In french :
“Les PV de tous les alliés sont boostés de 75 pour chaque sbire qu’ils possèdent”
The CS is working like this : every minions of the ENTIRE team heal 75 HP for ALL heroes but in french it’s not exactly what it is saying.
The correct translation should be something like this :
“Les PV de tous les alliés sont boostés de 75 pour chaque sbire dans l’équipe alliée.”
