Already seen ppl including my alliance leader get an hotm or an event hero fairly quickly (one person in cove got King Arthur from elkenan first attempt) @Magnifique got Khiona in 4th or 5th re train, just the iron to build it is nuts though as soon as I get sh25 I built it now it’s taking a couple days just to get it to 2 (whilst also adding grids to 5s i just maxed out) its definitely not as advertised to give “new players” the chance to catch up to long term player’s as im now going on 14 months and just got it,
and need to still get it to 10 and research yadda yadda but my dupe Elena Thorne and isarnia are good food (and possibly zulag) oh and yeah you need extra 5*s just to be able to use it,
Have fun "new player’s " in about 16 months you’ll be able to try for an event or hotm
Lol uh no, building time on the last 3 levels of HA is just over a month. I have two builders going finishing up the food storage and the iron storage and houses are all done. I’ll be using HA10 by mid January which is 10.5 months from when I started the game.
Glad to know I’m playing the game wrong though lol
Sorry but yes, i think you are doing totally wrong.
There’s several things in the game more important for a newbie rather then focus on HA, which is a (mediocre) tool for long time players.
First and foremost because you have nothing to retrain.
If you do have (because you spend), and you indeed skip time, then you’re wasting gems in otherwise better summons.
Or if you summon strong, you don’t need HA at all.
Nothing against you, but i would not suggest to any new player doing what you are doing.
I’m with you on this. I started the game when Telluria was the HotM, early march. With VIP and WITHOUT gem skip my HA10 will be ready late January. That’s 11 months from scratch. As CTP I don’t have a big roster of legendary heroes. Some HotM and a few S2/S3 5* heroes. Mostly not the kind that you would maxed them out ( Inari, Baldur etc ). My dual TC20 has been producing a few 5* and I can’t wait to retrain them in HA10.
Again thanks for your assumptions but I have TWENTY THREE dupe 5* that I’d love to retrain into the S1 5* that I’m missing and perhaps a chance at some of the good event heros and S2 in the HA10 roster.
My base is quite well situated and the only things I’ve skipped really are doing hunters lodge or Alchemy lab. I’m actually the ideal user of HA10, new in the game and spending but doesn’t have the full S1 roster but has lots of dupes.
I don’t feel any urgency to summon because I’ve got lots of good heros I’m working to level so gem skipping building for me is the best way to use my resources. I summon enough now to get the HOTM every month and I’ve got 7600+ Valhalla coins saved in case I ever don’t have HOTM by the end of any month.
And while I’m only 10 months or so into the game, I’ve studied and learned a lot and have grown to become the leader of my alliance of 20 players some of whom have been in the game over 3 years.
Exactly. I think a lot of people who are invested in complaint and criticism want to game out the absolute longest time it can take to justify their negativity. I’ve grown my team pretty strong so I’ve pulled way back on spending since I have what I need to compete at the level of the game I’m at. I’m not trying to be in the top 100 but I can finish all the challenge events easily and hit strong in our wars and against titans.
In your situation the HA10 is even better since you don’t have a lot of 5* so dupes are extra frustrating. The retraining will ensure that you can at least have a unique hero for each legendary you pull
Since you do summon a lot, again i don’t see any reason to keep building HA which would give to you eventually other heroes to work on.
You already have lv.7, which is probably the best stage of this feature and may help you much more.
Since people like you tend to have more heroes then AM, i would highly suggest to rather invest in alchemy lab, which last level would give you more shots (for a little price), on something you will need shortly.
But again, you are a whale and logic doesn’t really apply to you.
I’d like to have the dupes I have changed into other heros so I can use my mats on the heros I most want to level rather than just working with who I happen to have.
I agree AL is valuable and that’s my next project after finishing HA.
Please step back and reflect that your opinions and strategy are your own and not automatically the best for everyone.
It’s not easy you need focus but it’s not that hard if you’re smart and dedicated. I trust people who care enough about the game to be on the forum to be smart enough to think for themselves about what choices are best for them. And for many of us the HA is wonderful and we are going to make good use of it.
Well i’m 3 yy 7 mm in the game, tons of resources and legendary duples, and still think HA10 is an awful way to invest time and resources other then lv 7.
I do have them and that little chance is better then nothing, but i learned through time that items and epic heroes are much more important and much less pricy.
Still now i’m rather building tons of duples epic heroes for ninja tower rather then focus on legendary.
Epics are the real backbone for every player, and HA doesn’t provide anything for that.
I have 3 teams of epics leveled I use for those events and. 3 of 3* as well for those events. I never claimed to be the average player. You really need to stop making judgements and assumptions.
