There is some weight to what you are suggesting.
I also have alt accounts, when you first start one up they give a 5* hero very early on, i assume to get people hooked.
They want newer players to be drawn into the game, hence luckier pulls are a good method to achieve this.
My wife had been playing 2 years longer than me , when i started it was when Telly was HOTM, i got it first pull…5 pulls later i hit a second.
I have 5 accounts so i also see the difference.
All the newer accounts followed the same pattern of extreme luck earlier on.
