I did two tens on Friday, and 120 right before it closed out of desperation; goal was 200 for the chests, but hoped I’d get lucky before the portal closed permanently. Wanted to try Guardians a lil harder, but figured my odds were better here… *Sigh*. & I just wanted any new 5* tbh, even if it were Guardian Owl…
& I got one 5* to show for it…

I literally cried when he popped out, as I didn’t think I’d get any sort of reprieve. & Thankfully he’s a hero I’d always wanted, but even with that peace of mind, I’m not excited whatsoever. It still doesn’t make it okay… 0.4% drop rate?? I should’ve had around… 5-6 5*? Not one. & While my drop rates elsewhere are below, or at best - at - average too…
Where the ■■■■ is my luck? I can’t tell if this happens to everyone, or if I’m especially screwed and should cut my losses. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve had my share of good, and bad, luck streaks before… but this month has been, frankly, on a whole nother level… Almost like the portal gods decide which months will favor you… *sigh* and when they’re not happy with ya, they won’t budge no matter how hard you try…
So really sucks it had to be during this portal, with so many potential new 5* heroes [for me] 
Idk, least I finally obtained some goodies from the chests; hadn’t even seen a 4* mat or 5* aether til these:
(They are the only three chests - out of twenty - that had high end mats)
In short: I’m not happy. Honestly think it’s nearly criminal with 2.5% odds posted (statistics blah blah coin flip blah, please don’t try and patronize me here). So anyway, I’ve given myself a week to play it out, using up all acquired EHT and Underwild coins. If I’m not satisfied by then - with my luck doing some sort of hail Mary to make up for this 
(which idk if it’s even possible tbh) - I’m out for a bit (or permanently, if it really comes to that). Already alerted my alliance on the subject
I mean, it sucks; it’s unfortunate that the game is screwing me here - with low drop rates + my non-S1, non-HOTM dupe drop rate is almost a whopping 50% - but what can ya do 
I can’t keep feeding the monster if it doesn’t wanna play nice, and the only way to ensure I don’t feed it is to quit paying it any attention whatsoever. Which is annoying, as I really was looking forward to the Challenge Festival… but after this debacle, I worry I won’t make it there. & Even if I do, it will probably just screw me again anyway too… 
So for those of you who were just as unlucky as me, my heart goes out to you 
It’s not fair, and anyone trying to feed you odds - or some sort of justification for em - really needs to work on their people skills. As clearly, they don’t understand how utterly frustrating, and painful it is, to be one of the few on the truly unlucky side of things. So you all have my warmest sympathies, as I deeply empathize
