All other heroes that have had a secondary costume released are using them in the Costume Quest. Magni is still using his first costume rather than the new one released today however.
What’s wrong with the quest mixing first and second costume?

No issues with it, but it just seems inconsistent since whenever a new costume is released, it uses the newest version.
see: Domitia, Horghall. Interstingly, Justice is already using her new 2nd costume in the quest where Magni is still using the first.
We had the same thing during CF1 when the new costumes were released, in that, if a hero had a new costume (either released or to be released), then it used that too.
More just finding out if it was intentional or not I suppose.
I am sure that in another variant of the costume quest, Magni will be wearing his second costume 
Costume quest has multiple variants (like ToL and Covenant quests), which is quite a difference with CF1 which always has the same levels with the same mobs and bosses.
