When Kingston is the last hero on the board, he doesn’t get Gravemakers DoT, only the damage from the special skill.

Kingston has innate resistance to fire 
This is always the case, regardless of whether he’s the last hero or not.

Glad this has been pointed out about his innate ability. Although I don’t have Kingston this is good to take into consideration of course when facing any defense with burn damage.
Your post makes me more aware that it’s wise to learn how to place what heros we have available in each different scenario.
