defense-up Defense Up At the start of each battle, this Hero gets +20% defense for 6 turns.
In battles with multiple waves, the effect is refreshed at the beginning of each wave.
:hourglass: Ability: Gargoyle’s Stoneskin
Every time this Gargoyle casts a Special Skil, their Stoneskin hardens. The next 5 times they receive damage, it is dropped to 1. This effect can’t be dispelled.
:dizzy: Special Skill: Resurrection of the Fallen
  • Deals 70% damage to all enemies.
  • If no allies have fallen, deals twice the amount of damage to all enemies.
  • Cast the Special Skills of all fallen allies.

It is not mentioned directly in the announcements, but the mana speed change means that the Stoneskin buff will lasts until 5 times instead of 3.

It’s important to remember that Challenge Event Heroes have EXTREMELY low summoning odds. No amount of summoning will guarantee a Challenge Event Hero.

On average, in a 10-pull, you have a 17.5% chance of summoning Kalø.

But that statistic can lead our minds astray in exactly how our odds play out as we continue summoning.

Some useful insights:

  • 69 times out of 100, you’ll get Kalø by pull 20 (5,200 gems)
  • 95 times out of 100, you’ll get Kalø by pull 156 (46,800 gems)
  • 99 times out of 100, you’ll get Kalø by pull 240 (62,400 gems)

Putting that in Perspective

  • 31 out of every 100 people won’t get Kalø by the 20th pull
  • If 1 Million players each summoned :two::zero: times, 309,196 of those players wouldn’t get Kalø
  • 5 out of every 100 people won’t get Kalø by the 156th pull
  • If 1 Million players each summoned :one::five::zero: times, 56,280 of those players wouldn’t get Kalø
  • 1 out of every 100 people won’t get Kalø by the 240th pull
  • If 1 Million players each summoned :two::four::zero: times, 10,013 of those players wouldn’t get Kalø

That mean

If you bring this heroes with x4 Alfrike, when you cast this heroes skill while all 4 Alfrike die, you will get x4 Alfrike skill.

Do I understand right ?

Yes, this is how he works.

Only the other fallen Kalø’s skill is not fired.
Every other fallen hero’s skill is fired like as it was Kalø’s skill.
So for example an X% attack bill be based on Kalø’s attack, or the minions will inherit the HP and attack from Kalø’s attack and HP.

This one is interesting. It is not very superb if no ally is dead (but at least does something, looking at you, Budatin), but if he’s the only man standing he (I assume) will fire all of their specials. So basically a skill copier like Lord Loki, except for ally skill. I like mechanically unusual heroes so hoping for pulling him.

seriously this one can wipe out an entire team when hes the last man standing… too much for a 4* very interesting

i like his idea from the beta and hope he doesn’t change

he is situationally strong, my concerns are the passive they have, it is too strong overall on all of them and his damage when all allies are alive is really high for his speed

Note: he only copies unique allies. Do not try to bring an all kalo team and expect a loop.

He was extremely fun to use in beta. Can work with many teams. His downside to stacking with gargoyles is he was often the first to die which limits his effectiveness.

He will come to rule four star tournaments.

I expect many bug complaints from those who don’t understand how an entire team revived and killed the attacker.

I suggest the Kalo challenge: what’s the lowest team power you can beat a high level with?

He’s the one I’ll be going for. I have Gaillard already and am not really crazy for any of the heroes, but this guy changed my mind. Fingers crossed.

That was my assumption also, but then I started wondering if it can be influenced by whichever charge the copied ally died at. An interesting one either way!

I didnt do this beta when they was in so not 100% sure, but my gut feeling is they would only copy the first charge of ninja/magic heros …

There wasn’t any Lord Loki in the defense team, when I have testing Beta and I do not have him either, so I could not test it, but I am expecting that Kalø will copy the target’s skill in this case.

Now I have a more intresting question, which I have just thought about:

Assumptions:

  • Your Lord Loki is fallen
  • You targetting the opponent’s Kalø with yours
  • There are fallen opponents

What would happen in this case ?

Will your Kalø copy Lord Loki’s special skill which copies the opponent’s Kalø’ skill ?
If yes, then will the fallen enemy’s skill used against your team or used against the opponent ?
Or will your fallen allies skill triggered twice with 1 click?

If someone can check it once the event goes live, the I would like to know the answer :slight_smile:

Yes, that is actually what I want to ask in the first time but I suspect that if Kalø will be able to copy full effect of Lord Loki skill or not. When Lord Loki copy Lord Loki , the result is Villain Swing (deal 270% damage to target). Kalø might make the same result. That is why I ask that.

I also want to know what will happen too :slightly_smiling_face:
