I do think that it is possible for someone to someday create an AI that is as conscious and intelligent as a human. However, that’s not saying much since I also think that there’s nothing particularly special about the human mind other than that it is a complex meat computer. I’m more afraid that we’ll eventually create something better than ourselves and doom ourselves in the process (e.g. Skynet).
BONUS: My attempt at a conversation with Cleverbot a few years ago:
Unfortunately, that was the only part of the conversation I saved. It does look like there’s some sort of ID number in the title bar, though, so maybe it’s possible to look it up?
Big /salute to you.
I dedicate this very special song to you, … my friend.
Turn around and smell what you don’t see
Close your eyes… it is so clear
Here’s the mirror, behind there is a screen
On both ways you can get in Don’t think twice before you listen to your heart Follow the trace for a new start What you need and everything you’ll feel Is just a question of the deal
In the eye of storm you’ll see a lonely dove
The experience of survival is the key
To the gravity of love
The path of excess leads to
The tower of Wisdom
The path of excess leads to
The tower of Wisdom
Try to think about it…
That’s the chance to live your life and discover
What it is, what’s the gravity of love
Look around just people, can you hear their voice Find the one who’ll guide you to the limits of your choice
But if you’re in the eye of storm
Just think of the lonely dove
The experience of survival is the key
To the gravity of love.
And yes, seems like the board fairy smiles at other players, too I have also been attacked heavily in the last few days, and my lazy def team just sat around and played cards … grrr …
On the other hand, this does make it easier to fill that 2nd … and maybe 3rd … raid chest.
I often do that on purpose: raid, wait for others to knock me down again, raid again, rinse and repeat - - chests full
Hm… are you going to join the ranks of the retirees, by any chance?
No bother, no grind, no work, no hassle, just hitting normal titans, chatting with the ally mates - and raiding to your heart’s content?
This game can be quite amusing if you do not make the mistake of turning it into a job without the pay
Oh, and if you find a really nice retirement home, they might even free you from the obligation to do your duty in war. I had that good fortune .
Thanks to the long-awaited individual opt out.
No more doing my war hits at 11.30 Wednesday night or 6.30 Thursday morning. (I am on Central European time). No more fitting my life around a mobile phone game. Wonderful!
So, is retirement on your agenda?
If you are getting tired of the game as a job, give it a shot.
