Participation is free and it’s better to receive ascension items and some emblems from time to time than don’t receive

Trivia:
As the tier is defined using percentage, more accounts participating but not attacking will increase our chance to get to top 1%.

So could you please participate, just don’t use the flag :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

OK. If that helps. Unfortunately I Wil, nor atack anymore. Stayed 1% always and got less loot than the first one.

Actually, I wanna test something. I assume the first person who I will be fighting will get a bad defense score for that day (or for the entire tournament) because I wont be attacking other people. Their defense will be “stuck” until my team attacks. Hopefully that person will be someone from the forum :stuck_out_tongue:

Well, you have to try that till someone is reporting here. So we all know. But I don’t think that it works like this.

I started off doing well in tournaments, but in this last one I couldn’t win a fight to save my life.

Does anyone have any generic advice for tournament defense and attacking?

looks good! I might think also Aegir will be quite popular tank in this tournament - i will go with him at least :slight_smile:

This’ll be the second tournament I’m skipping. No participation at all, and I’m not one to join just to sit it out.

  1. Loot isn’t worth the effort.
  2. Running 5* tourneys without easier access to asc items for those heroes means a built-in rank limit unless you’re paying for items.
  3. Matchmaking still causes you to get creamed or coast. I’ve had both happen: out on day 1, or top 1% due to weak defenses.

Better, to me, would be to have a weekly tourney where players decide which tier to participate in: 3, 4, or 5* difficulty. Once decided, you’re locked in for that week, and loot is adjusted accordingly.

I’d rather enjoy the game when I log in, so set my sights on different goals than SG wants us to pursue. Once I see a possibly enjoyable tourney, I’ll join again. Right now… nah, mate. I’m good.

I think you’d do better with both of Mother North in the corners. I find her very easy to kill before she matters in flank, and that team is begging for a red stack. Ares buffing MN is also not terribly troublesome.

Thoughts on this defense? Poseidon giving 2 buffs should be useful.

My only other maxed 5* options are Frida, Leonidas, and Obakan.

I’m not a fan of this tournament. I like being able to use different heroes. This is my regular raid defense…
