First draft. If I go with this team I’ll have two family bonuses, a sturdy tank, lots of emblems, and mana control. Downsides: two average speed heroes in middle, no dispel, no cleanse. Should I take out Proteus for a costumed Rigard? No healing, obviously but he’ll cleanse and power boost. I think the answer is no, but not sure. Dispellers would be Sonya or Caed—both with emblems, but fewer than this team

I think I will go with this. I have a +18 Grimm that I could use instead of the +11 Sonya, but I think Sonya being Fast tips it. What do others think?

Going with this very similar to one i saw above. Thinking with my options Li flanked by those 2 purples is the best choice. Might as well use Triton as 1 sniper with Proteus in there for the family bonus, which makes Caed my dispelling dude.

First idea:
Could swap Tiburtus+1 for Grimm though less emblems. Too purple-heavy…
Other maxed heroes: exluding healers
Slow: Colen +7, LJ+7, Skittles+1,HuTao +1
Average: Tiburtus +1, Boril +4, Sumitomo +1
Fast: Triton +1
Lacking green…

I’m really leery of Wilbur at tank since blue has so much firepower even at classic level. I was leery of running Li Xiu at tank being that she’s only +14, but her talent grid would only give her +18 more defense, so she’s about as good as she’s getting.
Merlin is unfortunately the best purple I have for this on defense because Cheshire Cat is only like +11 and Gafar has no emblems at all. Still flanking Li Xiu and putting a Rogue in corner probably gives this defense the best shot it can. We’ll find out.
One thing I loathe about this is it locks costumed heroes unless you don’t place them on defense. My +19 Sonya is always benched because I need her versatility during the week and can’t lock her down in a tournament defense.

I suppose that Jackal is much better in attacking teams.
For defensive purposes is good great his fast mana, and emblemed class “spider”
@Vkcko, personally I’m not a massive fan of jackal on defence for the pure perspective that he’s got no defence stat to speak of.
Probably option 4 would be my vote 
@Vikingblood80, probably would suggest something like:
Sonya → Colen → Li Xiu → Proteus → Grimm
Grimm ain’t the best so maybe Triton for Grimm

I’m going to try this maybe. I do have a few other emblemed heroes to consider, especially my Boril +18 that I used to run as tank for the longest time, but Buddy seems to be a popular choice too.

I’d flip it a bit. I’d Put Sonya on the left wing and try to remove Jackal from the defence (no defence stat).
Maybe put Wilbur in…
So try:
Sonya → Wilbur → Buddy → Proteus → Gretel

Not the biggest fan personally as they require taking damage to be effective… They’re also quite easily dispelled… by heroes like Sonya, Caedmon, Sabina & Melendor (to name a couple).
I think they are best as dual flanks but that’s me personally.

Counterattack has a boost right now, too, so you might get some extra damage out of it if people don’t dispel it first.

Well, I had an initial take of the following team but decided to go a little faster.
Instead, I added Scarlet and reshuffled a bit. I also subbed Triton for Grimm.
I wish I had a good blue tank (Boril?). In addition to my emblemed Buddy, I have an emblemed Gaderius. Would like to see them as dual flanks. One day I may try it.
