Imagine you have to design the next batch of costumes, what heroes and specials do you go for?

I’d like to see Wu turn into a mini Ranvir with the damage dealing.

The stuff they change for most part does very little or nothing…,. Fot the MOST PART To make season 1 compete they need to add effects, change speed and do totally different things… The costumes all should want to be used…

I wished they colour swap around for more variety. Wu can still keep his skill, but turn him red or purple instead. Then they can have their own titan killer hero

How about making a costume that makes Leonidas actually look like a spartan warrior instead of a Chinese dynasty one. Now’s your chance to make up for that!

A LOT of this obviously could be adjusted/changed completely, but some thoughts on what could be interesting secondary costumes that I wouln’t mind getting if I’m going to be stuck getting these heroes before cRigard or any of the secondary 4* costumes.

EDIT: Decided to add percentages based on what their base forms had. Mostly because it’s probably hard to explain certain ideas, like “moderately adjusted damage to x enemies.”

OOO!! Separate addition, if I actually could do something with the costumes, like artwork/titles for the costumes, I’d enjoy making the costumes somehow connect to something in the game. For example, how ccObakan looks like he belongs to the Morlovia Family as well as ccDomitia, cBrienne’s title mentions a region in Season 2, and arguments could be made that cSonya’s Viking Champion connects with Season 3’s Norse mythology theme.

Even the recent releases of ccLeonidas and ccKelile easily fall under the Tower of Mages and their whole casting little wards on one arm and wielding their weapons in the other. They’re neat! Conversely, cSkitleskull looks atrocious, even if it’s possibly referencing the Fables of Grimforest. (They should rework the costume though, since a ball of slime does mana generation decrease but the Candy Witch still does reduced attack. Will even accept Corrosive Poison since it does both DoT and mana generation reduction.)

I have no clue what could be a “theme” for each of these costumes. Admittedly, some of the S2 costumes in the latest batch look and feel very mishmash of different things they have going on.

Here is mine, but with passives. I want to create something unique for the older generation challenge festival 1 heroes. No stat changes, but the passives makes each individual unique. A couple of them have buffs

Summary

Sargasso- revival ritual

  • this hero revives itself after 7 turns everytime it is defeated with 35% hp. Resurrection effects reverts him back to this form

Captain kestrel- seek treasure

  • anytime in the battle, a random enemy on the opposing side receives a treasure status effect. This effect can either be cleansed or dispelled. It is also removed when the holder of this effect dies. Damage from this character’s special skill steals the treasure, together with all other dispellable buffs on the target. After a victorious match, the treasure gives a random reward.

  • remove all status effects on this hero once it activates it’s special skill. The character drains 300 more health on the target for each status effect removed. Up to 1500 hp

  • If there are 2 or more dark characters on the opposing side, the healing for this character turns into boosted health

Lady of the lake- sword boost

  • Summons a magical sword minion to all allies with ‘sword’ and ‘excalibur’ in it’s skill name whenever the character uses a special skill. Magical Sword minions lose their effects when their owners have ‘sword’ or ‘Excalibur’ in their skill name, excluding this character. But their special skill deals an additional 70% damage with each magical sword minion owned

  • Whenever a hero of the opposing side uses a skill similar to this character, this character activates that similar skill for 4 turns

  • Whenever this character is poisoned, 7 dwarf minions with 15% hp and 25% attack inherited by the character are summoned randomly to all allies. Dwarf minions being replaced by new minions or fiends give their owners a moderate amount of mana

  • Whenever a countdown timer is present, restore 45 seconds back to the timer. Time restoration effect can only be activated once per match

Interesting direction. I see what you’re doing. A couple of these are very neat passive ideas. Never seen an Event where they all have their own unique ones outside of HOTMs. Even they start to repeat passives.

They do need something though to bring them up-to-date. Love the creativity!

Justice

Obakan

  • Special Skill: Mark and Cut
    ** Deals 300% damage to the target and minor damage to nearby enemies. OR Deals 345% damage to the target.
    ** All allies heal 100% of dealt normal damage for 4 turns. For :skull: Dark allies, the effect is undispellable and lasts 2 turns longer.
    ** The target and nearby enemies reduce their max HP by 120 for 4 turns. Max HP cannot be lower than 30% of their max health. OR The caster steals the target’s mana for 4 turns, starting low and increasing every turn until all their generated mana is stolen. This effect is uncleansable but is removed if the caster dies.

SG and community needs more of these than copy/paster minor modification & stat increasing

I probably could, but I doubt it’d get seen and would merge back to this thread. I never know what to do with the “stats” for the costume, but I always like the class changes and at least the skill itself being changed/adjusted and maybe they could work the stats around that.

Also I still think they’re not using that tile enhancement gimmick enough. I love that addition to the game.
