I know there are other threads about the new raid challenge but please don’t merge this cuz those threads are already bulky, confused, and full of off topic comments like how low 4* am appearance rates are. Plus, I didn’t see this get addressed.
So basically I don’t understand how this works. I pulled 5 straight super easy teams (for me) and couldn’t reroll (unless I missed it??). I beat them all handily and now I’m done until tomorrow. I’m only in the 3rd bracket despite that, presumably because my defense team hasn’t been attacked even once to accrue more points. How has nobody attacked me yet? How have other people with similar defense teams already been attacked so much? How is this fair? I can’t control how many times I get pulled to be raided. Why did I only get weak teams to raid? How is that fair to them? They had less than 2000 power and I was using maxed 4* with emblems.
I wonder if @zephyr1 and the other moderators would consider breaking the threads into separate titles, like scoring discussions vs just unhappy with the matching, etc.
It’s a lot of work I know, but I agree with the OP that the questions are getting buried in the rants, raves and the in-betweens.
Most of us in my alliance are in the same boat. I am curious as to any theory behind these matchups – will some sort of bracket/matching occur based on performance thus far in attack and defense from days prior?
In upshot: we don’t know. (Except that there are no rerolls in this version.)
The vast majority of the posts in these three threads are about the exact same questions (links set to start on today’s posts, where these topics begin):
The discussion in the “feedback” thread in particular (the first one linked above) has been almost entirely about this same question about fairness of matches for what is now 300 posts and counting.
I agree that those threads are long — but that’s because there’s a lot of active discussion on this topic.
Please use the links above to jump to the top of the discussion about matching fairness, or just join the discussion at the bottom of that thread.
To avoid ending up with a fourth long messy thread about the same questions, this thread will be closed. Thanks!
