Idea what to do with iron?

Hello, one of the hot topics is for sure Ascension Materials (from now: AM). The idea is to create a new Building used to convert them. In this way there will not be any market economy surplus, but people will not be killed by frustration if they get a not needed AM: even if they don’t need a rare AM they receive, they have at least the chance to convert it in a same-level AM. We might need food then (I hope so as well as I will never finish my mission to mine enough food when my storaged are full all the time).

But I really like the idea to use the iron even for other things as speed up processes.

Iron, kinda need a new use

It would be nice to have an other way to use iron. When you have upgraded all buildings there is only crafting iron can be used for. Or else maybe make the mines be convert able to farms.
