To confirm: you click Heroes > Edit Heroes and don’t see the right screen?

The screen on the left is in my Hero Roster; right is in one of the provinces.

Try logging out and logging back in again. Graphics artifacts like this are often memory issues. You may want to try closing apps running in the background to free up memory.
