it is easier to send hrml links directly from chat. We then don’t need another app to communicate…
Too much risk involved to do that
SG is not moderating the ingame chat in any way and is not planning to. And because of that, they’re not bringing in any chat options that could be used in a wrong way (harassment, explicit content etc.). This was stated by SG in a discussion about private messaging - it would be too dangerous and out of control. I guess the same rule goes for posting pictures or some links, and would definitely be the same with html codes.
