Wondering if I should make him more damage or more support. He does both well. Maybe 50/50? How did others emblem him?

I also went for survivability like @Ractapsas did.
He does enough beyond just damage that seems helpful to winning the chance at firing more times is appealing.
He is not going to titan battles so survival IS in question and a highly valued attribute in my heroes.

This hero reminds me in a lot of ways of Meresankh and I wasn’t thrilled with her. How do you find him after some more game play? What about you @ProfessorBlaq @CaptainFurface ?
He seems to be a little silent and hard to notice his activity. But when you examine the numbers, he gives brutal bonus to teammates - so keep him alive. Mine is now at LB2 full and use him in every part of the game. I think it was a good decision to fully level him up.

Gave it to himself every single time the generator fired. Surely that’s not working as intended. I know it’s RNG but surely not to himself every single instance it fires. Last screenshot was the last time the generator fired. Nobody but him got the buff???
He gives the bonus always for himself first. Is it intended or a bug? maybe @PlayForFun can answer the question (mine gives team members too, but he prioritise himself)
Which is folly to me cuz he’s only just fired his special. It should ALWAYS be somebody else 1st. Also, the description says
’to a random ally’ so in essence he should only give the buff to allies not himself otherwise it should read ‘given to any random team member’ but it says any random ally. Hrothgar isn’t an ally of himself so I assumed he wud give it to all apart from himself but I’ve found in instances he ONLY gave it to himself & it was more often than not !! Slightly flawed mechanic IMO.
He’s not a top tier hero & features rarely in the top 100 so little will be done about him but he shouldn’t be able to give it to himself & shouldn’t be able to give it to someone who already has it. On many occasions after the 4 turns have ended Hrothgar was the only bleemin team member with the bloomin buff ??? That ain’t RNG when it happens so often. Something else is afoot here but the devs never cop to it. It’s always ‘the RNG is working as it should’. Yeah right. Way to lose faith in the devs !!!

Similar logic to what @Ractapsas mentioned… I went for a defensive build (except took attack on node 11, just to get his attack above 1600).

Maybe that was changed since your comment, but this is definitely not the case now. First activation is random just like the rest
