My go to for most Frigg/Odin teams is mono yellow as such
Joon - Malosi - Sif - Poseidon - Gullinbursti.
Poseidon would stop Bera from depleting your mana as well I believe so fire him at someone else then have Joon and Malosi take out Bera (If both needed)

Regardless of defenses, if they have Spezials that would end me I go like this 
But seriously, one or 2 Hansel, proteus or even gretel can help, can’t be allowed to fire except bera. Riposte and healer could work too. I use same team for raiding for nearly everyone, cause of queen and being lazy but against bera a bit of a risk of course, still over 50% against those defenses. Hate Kadilen c much more than these

I use mono, 3 Tiles to beat down Bera, next Tiles and skills to kill Frigg and let Odin cast without Yellow Tiles in board. Vívica and Gullimburst give the support for the fast offensive team, Misth, Joon and Chacal.
If Frigg and Odin cast, doesn’t matter what team I use, ALL team die, so my strategy is to take them down as fast as I can.

So I finally got matched up against this setup and recorded a video of fighting it using a Grimble-based purple mono team. But the initial board was so good that I don’t know how instructive it will be

Have you tried rerolling? 
In general, I rarely re-roll. Fighting whatever game throw at me. 
The reason, I usually don’t have a problem filling a raid chest, neither trophy count is that important to me.
@Liam_K thanks, Grimble is a logical solution, and it came to me last ToL. So, as soon as I finish few projects I’m working on rn he will be my top priority.

This is what I use most of the time. Obviously it’s very board dependent but as long as I can find two red matches I get a bit more breathing room. Since Finley makes one of the wings 80% of the time, Mitsuko provides a very good counter provided the bastard doesn’t bypass her reflect of course. (if Finley is present Rigard reverts to his non-dapper form)
As you can see this is meant to take out Frigg ASAP since she is the biggest threat by far.

She is definitely the easiest solution. I normally take some healers with her and hel. My favorite team is kiril c for deff down, rigard c for hot and clean and brynhild, she protects skadi and makes her faster. Sometimes I switch one of the healers or hel for Vanda. But most of the time the healer team.
Let bera fire twice kill the minions with skadi and just wait. If you stay alive long enough you win.

My Skadi team was very similar to yours and almost unkillable. C Kiril & Skadi so that the Bera minions can be guaranteed to be taken down, then Zocc to take out the biggest opponent threat, C Rigard to cleanse & heal and Grazul to block and heal. As long as Skadi gets in a good hit where she takes out 5 minons it is almost a guaranteed win.
However, as I am trying to aim for 5 close-to-rainbow war teams I am now playing around with Myztero and Lady Loki on the same team, with Noor and C Rig and a 5th (currently Zoc, but need to find an alternative as I only have one Zocc). Myztero is a decent counter to Bera as he can stop her from getting more minions so that you can dump tiles into her for a few rounds. Overall Definitely not as reliable yet (works much better on classic GTV or variants), but once I figure out the nuances and max Myz and put some emblems on him I am hopefully it will be almost as effective (I would only take this team if there was another DOT hero on the wing such as Vela or GM)

Thank you all for posting, looking over your teams I figured one thing - no wonder I have issues with this defence! 
Before I grabbed Grimble a week ago, didn’t have any specialsts you all are using. No Skadi, no hero to block ailments (Grazul, Garnet) etc. Whatever combo I had, some of the crucial pieces were missing to counter everything that’s going on in the battle. 
But, I feel it’s going to change soon. Will have at least one team for consistent results.
Edit: Sometimes I wonder how the hell I ended up fighting those defences at +100 level in the first place, but with what I have, I do fairly well against any other setup. Guess this one caught me unprepared.

3 holy dudes, Grazzy & a minion killer in wars or mono holy or mono green in raids.
With yellows I try to take out Frigg first or with greens Odin and I try to avoid filling up Bera as long as possible.
If there aren’t many matching tiles you’ll be able to overcome a cast of Frigg or Odin.
Most annoying thing is the small mana cut when Bera dies.

I use Sif with Mother North. Sif riposte active when Frigg goes off usually protects both heroes plus kills Frigg. Mother North eventually brings everyone back to life then it’s 5 on 4. The key to this strategy is keeping Mother North alive. I use Rigard-c, Telluria and Proteus.

Grazul+6 - C.Gormek+20 - C.Marjana+20 - C.Marjana+0 - C.Rigard +18
This will win most of the time. If there are no red tiles on the starting board, hit the tiles against Bera to clear the board. Even if the defense side is full of minions, offence side can recover about 1,000 HP with a single skill shot of C.Gormek. Then kill Bera, Odin and the right wing with two C.Marjana. Finley isn’t too much of a problem now that his attack power is down.
I don’t have a whole ton of good 5* heroes but this is the team that gets most stuff done, especially vs purple tanks in general: Raffaele - Poseidon - Vivica - Bai Yeong - Vela.
- Get rid of Bera (or insert purple tank) with tile dmg
- Poseidon for high snipe dmg and prevents negative mana effects
- Bai Yeong for medium snipe dmg but more importantly: -75% accuracy, making Frigg’s or Odin’s special effectively useless
- In case Bai isn’t in time to stop one or both of their specials, Vela’s special softens the blows they can deliver
- Alternate between Raffaele and Vivica for health boosts
Still, Frigg-Bera-Odin defences aren’t a walk in the park, but this team is more succesful than any other combinations I can make with my limited roster.

Right now I go mono purple grimble, seshat, ursena, c. Dom, c. rigard. It eliminates two threats the Freya/bera core with minion and ursena let’s Odin kill himself, my biggest issue is typically frigg and she always dodges a sniper.my typical strategy is to kill around the tank and use grimble as minions spawn, let Odin kill himself, and snipe around on frigg and wings. It’s not perfect but it works and if I accidentally kill the bera/Freya tank then seshat Mana isn’t cut at least. I want to maybe try a counter trap team with health boost and try that but lacking the ham as always.

Arguably one of the best current defences in the game vs Myz & co featuring some of the “worst” heroes in the game
Myz: Early cast of Bera’s poison & minion block and GM’s burn, resulting in roughly 800 damage to all heroes - note the damage is equivalent to the damage the opponent did on me, i.e. inclusive of 20% attack bonus. Odin’s death, and allowing a cascade into Bera that didn’t result in any minions. He also had the finishing blow but at that stage any hero/tile combo woul dhave done it. MVP.
Zocc: Timely shut down of Frigg. Note that due to her fast speed a cascade was able to be triggered into her, resulting in 2 mindless attacks and a whole bunch of charging for me. The dodge is annoying but the mindless attack will stick regardless. I wish I had the emblems to max him, but he is competing with Myz and Frigg for emblems (watch out Frigg, those emblems are not safe)
Lady Loki: Didn’t really play a role:
C Rig: Useful heal. BAU
Noor: useful self minion helps to contain Bera’s minions, but not much of a role in this one.
These guys are a specialist team against ailment dealers (usually with minion protection), but in that niche they perform very well. GTVs are an extremely high win rate and these top defences are probably somewhere in the 60-70% rate at the moment. There will be plenty of war targets at the top 100 level for this team to target for a very, very long time to come. Myz has proven his worth and will be getting an extra 6 emblems courtesy of Musashi soon…

Poseidon is super useful there, mana cut protection makes life much easier. What’s your opinion about Tarlak in offence, in general? I have him at 3-70 and use him for titans. But I am with 5 tonics and I’m not sure I have anything more exciting in green. Probably Tarlak or Ratatoskr. But I would not go for Tarlak if it’s mostly for titan battles.
Well that was one AWESOME presentation. I really wish that more people whining for Noor’s and Myztero’s buff see this. How those heros can be super effective, if you try a little bit harder to find a place for them.
