I can always get more iron, but several ingredients are used by multiple battle items ( looking at you Midnight root).
I have a strong roster of 4*+6, or higher heroes including, but not limited to, Wu Kong 4*+7, Rigard 4*+9, Melendor 4*+9, Proteus 4*+7, Boldtusk 4*+7, Wilbur 4*+1
I keep 45 of the following in inventory
1* Arrow
1* Antidotes
2* Health
1*, 2*, 4* mana
2* Axe
3* Bomb
4* Dragon
I craft more immediately after using them.
I get enough Turtle banners from the game without having to craft them.
Miracle scrolls suck. Revive scrolls are only helpful to revive Mother North or Alberich ( I have neither).
Tornadoes were nerfed.
Time stops were more useful before Proteus.
