I agree 3* asc mats come pretty easily but certainly not 4* mats. I think one of the most reliable time-tested complaints of this game, second to summoning scarcity, is ascension mats scarcity, high level titan or no.
I have abundance of leftover 4* AM because I rarely pull heroes (F2P) and I am quite picky when ascending a hero.
My alliance teammate often complaint of AM scarcity because they often pull with money thus they have too many heroes need to be ascended.

It definitely seems to be the never-ending cycle of this game…spend alot and you have too many heroes, not enough mats…the other way, no heroes and a plethora of mats.
I try to cycle the mats as soon as possible but since I rarely spend, many of the heroes I’ve leveled are, can we say, subpar 
I’ve even leveled 2 Elenas to max on one acct not bc I think she’s good, shes really not, but I had nothing better and got tired of waiting for something which may or may not come.

Your first graphic shows 51 materials but the second, third & fourth graphics only shows 50 mats?
Also, do you create a new tab for each month with new graphs etc…?

I keep one tab for chart only and update its source every month, just 5 minutes hence so lazy to think about any improvement the history is saved into those screenshots

Here’s my loot from various chests, titans and anything that is dependent on RNG. I don’t count quest or challenge event rewards because those are defined and I’m certain to get all of the completion rewards which is all I aim for. My sheet tracked only non-farmable asc mats, gems, tokens, coins, flasks and generally things that can be used for pulls at some kind of summoning portal.
I’ve been skipping the wait times for raid chests for over a year now. Ever since raid tournaments went live, I’m earning enough gems from these loot sources to pay for all of the skips. It’s amazing what 5 extra raid flags a day can do to reduce the cost of skipping chests.
Titan loot was generally tier 12 and up.

just wow, I’m very unhappy with my titan loot 
it’s 2 month without any 4* mat, fighting 9* & 10*
Hmmm. Thinking about starting to track this but it sounds like so much work… 
Normally no effort or less than 1 minutes per day 
Here’s my data. Best / Worst months. 99% of the items are from quests / titans / events and only a few are purchased (with gems).

A bad month but don’t care so far.
@robin102 thanks for your sheet, so I went back to some screen shots and recorded since this year.
I knew my luck was better, usually I’ll have a 2 week streak followed by months of nothing.
Below is what I was able to capture, probably missing a lot of 3* mats.
Anyways, how do I clean up your sheet for example adding down the numbering for column 2 as well as subheadings for months?

I use mobile to input, for changing file structure I will use my laptop, much convenient.
