Hitting tiles when enemy is dead

Hello everyone,
I don’t know if it’s a bug, but when you hit a strike of tiles and the enemy dies from the first strike, then the second strike combo right after hits the dead enemy, too.

This is especially a problem with active perfect riposte of the enemy.

I guess they left it for the future to fix all sorts of shortcuts they put in the mechanics to save dev time and money. Including this glaring omission.

And it’s frustrating to say the least.

Riposte only hurts you base on 115% of damage taken (not total strike damage), the subsequent tiles should not be causing you further damage if the enemy hero is dead.

An example: I shot Sartana’s special (at 4/80) at a Boril with 200 hp left and she took 230 damage, not like 700.

Perhaps it was a shortcut or perhaps it is an intentional design element.

This one feels like a case of developer’s choice rather than a bug.

I think of it this way - if I were to fire 6 gun shots at a deer, all 6 hit the deer even if the first one kills it.

I don’t think it is a bug.
