Hippo vs. Esme

Hello,

I just got another farsight telescope and I can max another Ice hero. I just got Hippo which seems great and fun, but I already have Esme at 3.70 and I don’t have any 5* Ice healer, while for damage I already have Sobek, Pengi, Frida, Cobalt (except Sobek all limit broken as well). I also have Ariel from FS as a possibility for healer.

Considering this, which one do you think brings a better value at the moment to my roster? I am also a bit worried that Hippo might get nerfed.

The trend seems clear enough, but maybe some more votes are useful :slight_smile:

I would go for Hippo but I urge you to wait to see if they will nerf her. Everyone is complaining about her. So wait a couple of weeks to see what’s going to happen, then choose!

I really expect a buff. Hippo is good but bellow par. He does nothing by himself except mana gen buff and I expect him either to become undispellable or do direct damage or both

Does Hippos hits bypass counter attack like Termor. I have two Termors and the way it does the damage no matter what I way more powerful then I originally thought.

Not sure what you mean, as Tremor does not have a counterattack. Generally Hippo does bypass counterattack

Whatever one has….if Hippo is an option… he is priority over other blues…even priority over other heroes…

Hippos fits into any offence, defence team….

I war worried about a nerf :slight_smile: Plus, I did not have a 5* Ice healer and I love healers :slight_smile:

In the right team, he just wipes out all your enemies! My fav hero by a mile!
I’ll max my second (just worried about a nerf :cry:)

LB 2xC-Kiril is fine! My Esme is also at 3:70 and I’d probably max a second Hippo as my priority

@Luna This thread is from January. I already maxed Hippo, Milena and Himeros since then :slight_smile: I agree, Hippo is great, I use her regularly in a team with Garnet - Alucard - Himeros - Milena
