Heroes to max for roster depth

I have 61 maxed legendaries and have decided to go F2P so won’t be doing many summons! I can’t decide which 5 heroes I should be working on at the moment! Just need advice on heroes to max for roster depth (wars / raids / tournaments / titans). I’ve always had great advice and feedback on the forum. There are many great players here! So, hopefully you can all help me one more time :innocent:

All LB heroes are at 4:85 and most heroes have more emblems! My hero plan isn’t upto date :joy:

I’d appreciate if you could vote for 2 for each colour 5 :innocent:

I voted for Grimble because he is just amazing against minions, C-White Rabbit because Holy defense down is rare.

Otherwise, for Ice depends if your focus in more general (Oniwamaru) or more for rush wars or making a team with mana boosters for Milady.

For Nature Guan Yu will work great with Liu-Bei. For Fire I am most unsure, all options have their advantages, but I voted with R&N for the mana steal

My current plan is

C-WRabbit (for DD) + Faline (hits hard + mana cut) and Milady (because she’s great) ! These are my top 3 - then it gets a bit more confusing! Grimble for sure but I have Ogima / Bera and athos! And for reds - I have no idea :blush:

I would not really count Athos, because he hits only one and in my experience Grimble is much more useful than Bera. Ogima I imagine is very strong, but I use Grimble with Ludwig and Alfrike and it’s so satisfying to see how he removes all minions and fills my other heroes with mana :slight_smile:

For reds, they are all good, one more reason for R&B, I think he/ she/ they are most fun :slight_smile: Lewena might be better for rush shutting down talents

And for reds I might toss a coin! I have 18 rings but short on blades and tomes!

You can use Grimble with Milady to get her mana full :slight_smile:

Great plan! Just gave Rabbit 6 darts! So it will be Grimble and Milady! That will keep me busy for awhile

Voted exactly the same with seeker but I put C2Elk because of the speed and durability. Guan Yu is great too. Cheers!

Yeah, I also voted him first being fast and hitting all :slight_smile: But afterwards I saw Liu Bei and thought those two guys should fight together :smiley:

Awesome. I looked for any of the Defense down holy and you need C WR for that reason

The only other one (as far as I’m aware! There are too many new heroes - I lost track) is C-Vivica and mine is still at 3:70

When I got the 4 star Bogart for defense down I was so happy. Made my purple titan hits MUCH better!

What about a team like this?

Congratulation to your very strong roster.
I would do the following heroes :

Purple :

Morax and Kage

Morax to counter the Overhealers, Kage for his dispell. Very fast dispell is very useful against Aether powers.

Yellow:

Topaz and Malosi
Topaz against Minions, together with Ogima and Guan Yu (spoiler look at the greens) there is no need for Grimble.
Malosi to counter the secondary specials. He is very fast, so there is a good chance he will fire first.

Green:

Grace and Guan Yu

Geace gives a def down on specials, that is very good on MT paired with Pengi, and can be very useful against powerful bosses in towers- and challenge events.
For me there was a tight race between C2.Elk and Guan Yu, Elk is faster but Guan Yu is better against minions, this is my reason to choose him. Elk would be next on my list.

Red:

R&N and 2nd Phenexa

R&N is fast, hits hard, and steals mana, a great hero, you cant have enough mana controllers.
Phenexa is a Bard, thats 5% additional mana generation for all „lonesome“ heroes, not having a family member in the team. I wish I had a Bard hero in every attack team.

And now the really difficult color, Blue:

If you could level 4 it would be Esme, Onikawa, Hippo and Pengi.
If you are only able to ascend two you have to be more picky.
A 2nd Pengi would be great on MT , and with enough minion spawner as support the centerpiece of an attack team.
Esme is an ok-healer with strong anti fiend capabilities, especially helpful against Mathilda.

Hippo is so broken, I would level six if I had them.

At last but not least the Ninja, undispellable taunt is a very interesting special.

I would do Onikawa and Pengi, add Mono, Hulda and Devana and you have a perfect attack team, and you will reach top1% on MT easily.

I take all your points! This is the reason why this game can be great fun and thought-provoking! There’s no ‘one’ way of doing things. I really appreciate the feedback!

Food for thought! I might play around with different combinations! And I wish I had all the asc mats for the whole lot :innocent:

I am so inclined to do this actually! My fav heroes and on top of these, I could max a second C-Freya or 2xC-Domitia :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

nice roster @Luna ! you already got so much great advice, and I don’t know many of these heroes well enough…

I am sure you will continue enjoying playing even as FTP, lots of advice to be had all over! esp. on the FTP rebellion thread :slight_smile:

For sure it looks like a cool team. Just that Grimble works only against minion teams. Otherwise I would replace him with Xno or Hulda.

However, it makes you vulnerable if you get Milady killed soon, because your offensive power depends on her. C Seshat could replace Grimble when you need a dispeller

Don’t you worry! I’m not gonna use that team for raids and wars :joy:

I’ve done some friendly raids and mana gen is great but no real firing power :innocent:

But it’s fun
