I have an Atlantis team that consists of 2 Proteus’s, 2 Ariels, and Gadirus. Noticed today that I only get the defense bonus for 3 family members? A family member we is a family member shouldn’t matter if they are twins.
Family bonus doesn’t apply to the same heroes. When you click on the family icon on hero card it says “unique”. It works as intended - no bug.

That’s because you in each case have only 2 unique heroes from the family in question.
Duplicates don’t count for this purpose.
