On an upgrade of my hero the hero capacity did increase but only by 2 slots instead of 5. The same thing happened on my daughter’s account. It’s increased to 142 and is supposed to be 145.
You don’t get 5 slots for every level you make with your hero.some levels give you only 2.

i found out the hard way when leveled from 51 to 52

If you are discussing player level increases, the Devs made them smaller but more frequent
