Thought on the FAQ: why do you bother with the BS, you know you didnât tune/adjust the hero to balance the game, you did it to lure ppl into spending while you screw ppl that have already spent money. Save yourselves sometime and shouldnât even bother, because you donât even listen to the community anyways, why pretend to care about the game with this FAQ while you clearly do not. Beta tester warn you many times on many different instances a hero will be OP on release. Anyone with a brain and fair-minded head will know Kalo would be OP, his special is fundamentally designed OP. You didnât listen and release it, let ppl pay money for it and then nerf it, you did the same with Christmas heros. Besides the fact you shouldnât even need beta tester to warn you about things, simple things like Kalo any decent game Dev shouldâve foresee.
Shaddy businesses practice. If you really cared about balance of the game there are many S1 hero needed tuning, and S2 and other old heros. But instead you release costume to make ppl pay again for these heros, and some S1 still crap after costume you donât even care. So all those things in the FAQ are just BS.

If you want to play this game, you will nerf the heroes after you have created a super hero and after the Beta tell you that it is too powerful and after the Cash, the least you can do is be honest with whoever invests their money in this game and pays you for your vacations and make a description in the hero card (Attention do not level this hero until after 2 months it is possible that his numbers change) that is being honest.
And remember, the largest percentage of people who have voted on the KALO nerf think he is a balanced hero and doesnât need to be nerfed by (letâs see if you listen) SGG / Zynga / or Take Two âŚor just @Petri.

I must be one of the few that enjoys the game immensly. Maybe help the community understand that the balance subject should not be emotional and personal but to the greater community at large. Not every hero has to be obtained by everyone. When we work on our counters every hero can be outdone. I think when a new hero is obtained people believe that the hero is the best hero that has no counters. Time and patience just like chess has calculated moves. Happy with the game!

You are entitle to your opinion, but perhaps you really donât get what others are pointing out. There is nothing wrong with tuning balancing hero, many live service game has seasons where certain build/hero become âmetaâ and change with each update, it keeps the game fresh.
But what SSG is doing here is clearly not the case. Any gamer or so call âgame devâ with half a brain will know Kalo special is designed to be fundamentally OP, Devs were warned (as with many other things) from Beta testing, yet SSG push to release the hero, why? To scam peopleâs money, after people spent the money ascended and limit broke the hero, they nerf it, none of the mats will be refunded, if you care you might have to buy those mats again as well.
This is not the first time, and it happen so frequently these days, last time was Christmas Hero, right after event was over, everyone paid their money to chase those hero, they nerf it. Same with Kalo and many times before. If it happen once, might be mistake/oversight, if it happen 2nd time, give them benefit of the doubt. If it happen repeatedly and become a trend, would you still want to defend it to not be a shaddy business practice to scam peopleâs money? I beg to differ.
This is looking at it as an experience gamer from multiple MMORPG and live service games, and I am looking at it objectively with zero emotion attached. I donât even have Kalo nor care to chase it cause I knew it would be nerf cause I knew the special was designed fundamentally OP, surprise surprise, an insignificant gamer like me can foresee it, the well paid talented SSG game Dev canât see it? Or did they saw it but choose to ignore it for other reasons (money)? I am sure a fair minded person looking at it objectively know the answer in their heart, no need to be personal or emotional, just be normal and reasonable.
I am not attacking you, I apologize in advance if it sounded offensive, is not my intent and I merely want to point out why people have their view on it, and hope if you look at it fairly you will come to understand. Till then, have a good day.

Yup. They are allowed to do this per the Terms of Service. Players are also allowed to uninstall the game and not look back.

No terms of service, or contract for that matter, supersede laws. Bait and switch is a scam, and is illegal. If someone has the desire, time, or money to actually take them to court, is another story, But make no mistake, what they are doing is unethical and very greedy, and at best, walking that illegal line.

Yup, well said, if someone willing to take them to court I can see SG losing, because everything theyâve been doing is anti-consumer, terms and condition can only protect you so far, they are outright scamming. Might be news to some, Terms and condition still have to complied with the law, they arenât above the law. Just that taking them to court will cost too much and no one will be willing to do that, it doesnât mean they are on the correct side. Funny the amount of money the whales sink into the game they can probably take SG to court and force them to change the game for better, too bad it ainât going to happen.
The excuse of âbalanceâ is debunk outright when you look at other OP event 5 stars, hello Ludwig, hello the purple/red octopus face, and many more, oh did Starfall event hero and villains hero needed the buffs? Instead of tuning old S2, S3 heros they release costume so you can pay to pull again on what you already own lol.

No one will take them to court for a insignificant game. They know they are screwed if someone actually did. Just have a court order asking to release all the warning beta tester gave and someone collect all the forum feedbacks. Judge just ask one question, why did you go ahead with all those legitimate warning ahead of time, wonder which terms and condition will cover that lol.
It is sad this game has potential but the whales refuse to collectively do something has ruined it by encouraging them when they deserve none. Look at more significant games, imagine Bungie tried to pull something like this on Destiny, right? Ya ainât happening, cause the community actually cared about the game and the game dev there actually cared about their game.

EnP is an online rental where, per the Terms of Service agreement, they have creative control of the content.
Donât like it? Uninstall. I did.
Or like me, donât uninstall it play it with your friends but play and another game and add your money in the new one (if you are spender).

Rental is an interesting take indeed but it undeniably has gambling mechanics. So how does rental with gambling mechanics works. (legit curious) Donât suppose someone can go to casino win a bet with gambling and the casino turn around and tell you what you won is not yours, or is a rental so what you win is only temporary yours? That be funny. Not having a dig at you, I am legit finding it seriously fascinating lol.
Sidenote: Incase anyone still want to argue about gambling mechanics, iirc EA has lost lawsuit on their ultimate team, I could be wrong on exact details but I remember there was something like that a couple years back. Some EU countries have group them to be governed under same as casino games etc.

You canât convert anything in the game into money. It is how they argue it isnât gambling.
If you havenât seen it, take a watch of Letâs Go Whaling.
The game definitely has gambling aspects and cultivates themes geared to addiction.
As long as it is legal, the app stores want to see maximum transactions.
Unless someone takes them to court and wins, Iâll default to their ToS governing.
It is also how EA tried to argue in their case with FIFA and Ultimate team and pack opening iirc. You couldnât convert anything in FIFA back to money either. But the keyword is a âgame of chanceâ when opening the FIFA packs (same as pulling heros), and you do âinvolve real life moneyâ because they are used to open the packs, same as you use real life money to buy gems to pull from portal.
If take direct comparison to FIFA, EnP release an OP hero on purpose (forewarned by beta tester, and anyone with half a brain), FIFA release an super OP player card, but after everyone paid to chase the card they nerf the card. I canât imagine the FIFA community will accept that, but because that is a more important game with more attention, EnP is a small mobile game that is insignificant in the bigger picture.
Thats why I do find it funny the whales in this game think they are so great and important, when at the end of the day, this game is hardly significant, and SG donât even give 2 crap to respect your investment in money nor time lol.
